🇺🇸 Discussion: General Election 2024, 🥥 VS 🍊

US News
A Pew poll from May showed that only 37% of Republicans support early or absentee voting, a significant decline from the 57% who backed the practice in 2018. Democrats were far more supportive of early voting, with 82% in favor, virtually unchanged from the 83% who backed it six years ago.
Tom Eddy, a Republican Party county chair in Erie County, Pennsylvania, told NBC News in April, that voters rejected mail-in ballots when he offered it to them.

“Every one of them said either, ‘No, that’s not the right way to vote,’ or ‘Trump does not agree with it,’” Eddy said.

Simon Rosenberg: “Reiterating that the new spate of red wave polls - Insider Advantage, Patriot Polling, Remington, RMG, Trafalgar, etc - seem to be focusing on moving the averages in OH and MT Senate, and NC and PA Presidential.

That seems to be their play, for now.

That sounds more like it. At some point, the "undecideds" are just non-voters. Those are the people who "want to hear more", but have never heard of Dobbs or don't know Trump was convicted of 34 felonies. In other words, they want to hear more, but don't listen. You've got to keep trying, but it's like picking over vegetables that have been picked over 10 times before.

Or they're secret Trump voters who CNN are claiming they're undecided.

Not alot Harris can do about the Hurricane response that she isnt already doing, i suppose she could be on the ground more, as for the strike again she cant do much there, my concern is Trump going in an negotiating a successful settlement, since this was in part encouraged by him, him showing up and negotiating a settlement would make him look good and thats a terrible thing for Harris

I don't think Helene will hurt Harris in the election
Israel's bulls*** and the port strike causing price spikes though, those could be a problem
I don't understand not voting for Harris over Isreal when Trumpis just going to do the same thing if not worse.

Well anyone with a brain knows this

but, this is America

The Pro-Palestinian (or just Anti-Israel) people say Biden-- and by extension Harris-- is complicit
The Pro-Israel people say they're not doing enough
And nobody talks about how badly Trump would f*** it all up

My ballot is safe and counted at my local BOE office. If you can vote early in person or by mail (hopefully in a state that preprocesses VBM ballots before Election Day), do it ASAP. We need to make sure Madame VP wins by a landslide.
