🇺🇸 Discussion: General Election 2024, 🥥 VS 🍊

US News
Interested, thought it was funny, a Iowa Republican senator said over the weekend there was no way Kamala would win Iowa, he said he is so sure that if she wins he would get castrated on live TV

The fact that MAGA Republicans are freaking out over the poll shows that FDJT’s support is cratering. Watch that guy backtrack on that promise after tomorrow.

How concerned is everyone over the reports that many of the 2020 fake electors are back in positions to deny the results, we all know that Speaker Johnson refuses to say if he will certify the election, we also know there are several Trump loyalist in both the federal courts and supreme court, assuming Kamala wins how many states will not certify the win in their states? and do we think democrats will retake the house?

The only way to prevent this is an electoral landslide in the same vein as Obama in 2012.

Or an Obama 2008 sized win. Which included flipping Indiana of all states.
I dont see Indiana flipping, same with Ohio, both of whom went to Obama, if she can get Iowa that would be a nice add as well as NC, think i was hoping either Florida or Texas would flip but both seem unlikely as well.

I think Kamala getting Florida and Texas are long shots, the Senate races are where my interest is. Beto "I'm taking your guns" O'Rourke was able to get close to defeating Cruz, but dropped the ball hard on not running against Coryn.

Any chance Ted Cruz will lose this year?

Cruz is so terrible, but when he was at his most hated post-2016 POTUS bid was his weakest. Dude literally had MAGAs hate him for trying to stop the Orange One.
Texas has an annoying habit of doubling down on stupid, so while Cruz has literally done nothing for Texas, they would never get rid of him

He became a commodity around the other obstructionist Tea Party Republicans after Obama was elected. He's doing his job and that's to prevent the government from functioning with Mitch McConnell at the helm.

He almost lost his seat in 2018 during a very good midterm cycle for Dems. He hasn’t expanded his voter base since then and the state continues to grow.

I wouldn’t count Allred out yet. If turnout is heavy in the Democratic leaning counties tomorrow, he could lose.

That would be his weakest time when he pissed off the GOP electorate by refusing to step aside for Trump.

Latest Polls here in Ohio from Emerson College polling has (D) Sherrod Brown 45% losing to (R) Bernie Moreno 48%.
