US News
In a way they did because Republicans made it a big thing thanks to fear mongering, lies etc.
But Democrats for sure didnt lost because THEY focused too much on them, maybe because they focused too little.

The landslide Republicans lie happened, didnt really happen.
Which kind of makes it not really better because it means that Democrats only slightly would have needed a course correction here and there to get these votes, but they failed.

doesnt help that 84 Million people did not vote and 12 Million less democrats voted this time than in 2020, any disaster we are about to suffer is on those people.

And it's looking like that disaster is well on his way. :(

Sadly yes, Trump continues to put fourth the worse of the worse for his cabinet picks, all dedicated to destroying the rule of law and what makes this country work. I get those who claim we need smaller government, but i am always flabbergasted by those who are thrilled that our country and government is in their words going to be blown up and rebuild, they continue to use the old tired excuse of an over reaching government, yet the very thing they seem to hate, is what makes civilization function, without government human instinct is to do the worse things possible, we already have seen numerous food contaminations because of Trumps first deregulations, and its going to get worse, not better, we have this warped idea of freedom in this country that revolves around a small government, yet tens of millions of americans depend on the very government they want destroyed, so replace it with what? There is never an answer that makes sense, i hear republicans whining about social security and medicare, saying these are entitlements, umm, no, pretty sure i pay into that every pay check so the government isnt giving me anything i didnt earn and put into, so what happens if they eliminate both, do i simply stop paying into them?
And if they are planning on destroying the government, will they cut military funding? I bet not, if anything i see massive corruption being the norm now, its been there, but now it will be in our daily lives as they will not hide it.

The size of federal government hasn’t kept up with population growth over the past hundred years much like the size of the House and Senate and Court system haven’t either.

We did pay into social security all our working lives so yes, it is not an entitlement. By gutting social security and Medicare they are stealing from us. Like being taxed twice.

Is there anything good about the GOP? All they do is find new ways to tick me off.

Fox News interviewed a member of Congress confirming they plan to cut Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. But Social Security doesn't go to the budget it ends up in the Social Security Fund.

I'm retired but not on SS yet. I can see them raising the age so that I'm dead before I can even collect what I've paid in.

Donald Trump now only leads the popular vote by 1 percentage point (1.47).
