It’s not happening. When Halperin said Biden wouldn’t endorse Kamala Harris for president if he stepped down, I knew right then it was definite BS.

The Dem donor class want the whole ticket gone (including Kamala) and they ignore how that would be a boon for the GOP. The Biden campaign can’t transfer the campaign money to another candidate apart from KH. Republicans are salivating at the opportunity to challenge the replacement candidate ballot placement if that happens. They want the SCOTUS to throw the election to Trump like they did with Shrub in 2000.

I think some recent events really highlight what is deeply entrenched, and wrong about our election system.

Look at someone like Elon Musk (and others) who is donating almost one quarter of a BILLION dollars (that we know of) to a campaign. Now take a look at other Mega donors who are withholding funds because they want Biden to drop out. I know it seems obvious, but these are 2 sides of the same coin that alienate the vast, vast majority of the populace because this small, small group of people have undue influence in the election process.

When someone can put a heavy finger on the scales by donating large sums of cash because it's in "their", and not the public's, interest, something is very, very wrong. Conversely, those who would withhold their "normal" contributions, because they are backing someone else or for whatever reason, are doing the same thing in reverse. The latter is effective only because the former exists and both have to stop.

If we want to call the US a democracy by and for the people, something needs to be done about how elections are funded.

Something to keep in mind: Tom Strickland - the megadonor pulling dem donations from folks who back Biden - is a co-founder of the WME talent agency. Another co-founder is Ari Emanuel who repped Trump. They also do business with LIV golf tournament, Miss Universe, UFC/WWE (wrestling), Obama (Ari’s brother Rahm was his chief of staff), Elon Musk, and god knows how many media personalities are repped by WME.

I suggest anyone who watch this, know who AOC and who the Progressives are and why they're taking the position they are. Jamal Bowman was just killed for "betraying" Biden's policies because he actually wanted what Biden promised.
