Three hours is a lot but one hour pretty brief, then aside from general introductions they could only maybe go into 3 issues, 1.5-2 hours I think a pretty obvious reasonable compromise. And yes no talking about marijuana (when she had been open about (changing) her position 5 years ago and had a very different record long before that but the record should still be able to be considered) is pretty silly requirement.
