Just because we enjoy Call of Duty doesn't mean we wanna experience it in real life...not to disparage the military of course. The point is people have a much easier time getting to know about things before jumping into it. People can find out really damn quick if military life is suited for them.

For reals though, I'm curious, if branches of the military continuously struggle to get more volunteer recruits, what is done to get them? Ignoring any conspiratorial false flag thing that stirs up the hearts of Americans to enlist. Increase pay and perks?

At times like this, I have to admit that the people that always whine about taxes have a point.

 

Except, outside certain Libertarians, Republicans only complain about poor people getting tax money.

 

That's part of it but I think that a lot of it is just hatred of the government spending too much, regardless the place that the money goes.

 

They didn't care when Trump ran up the national debt.

They only care when Democrats do it because Democrats supposedly give tax money to lazy slackers and welfare queens.
