The United States wasn't the only one supporting the Libya rebels. Europe's Big Three (Britain, France and Germany) were too.

Actually, to be technically correct....we were ONLY supporting the big 3, it was the big 3 (mostly France) that did a good portion of the ground support for the rebels in Libya.
