It will be shut down as wholly unconstituitional, something Republicans keep having trouble with. They will blatantly make an illegal law like this censorship bull**** then whine how certain rights like privacy are not in the Constitution and want to destroy them. They can't seem to decide which side of the Constiution they want to be on.

The internet should be unconstitutional in the bat**** insane world of Alito and his brethren, if it's not 'deeply rooted in American history.' But you know for the right wing the ends justify the means and double standards and consistency mean nothing.

I find it difficult to feel sorry for people who deliberately invest in scams.

Crypto’s going downhill at a good time. Will it be enough though to stop this is the question.

Reminds of the Super Bowl in 2000 where all the dot coms were heavily featured advertising just before the bubble burst. But at least those companies had way more value to society than crypto does.

Wired - These Crypto Super Bowl Ads Feel Like Pets.com All Over Again (February 2022)
Dot-Com Super Bowl, meet Crypto Bowl...

If they can find a new group of hype-makers and marks they can pump it up again before it goes downhill again.

This is why I stay away from the newest money making schemes. They inevitably always go bust and take a lot of people with them. Will crypto currency ever be viable? Sure, but it is nowhere near that right now and a lot of this is just wasting your money.

The regulations to make crypto "viable" are the exact same kind of regulations crypto was created to bypass.

I am sure there is some compromise where it can be regulated and yet retain some of its anonymity although I think it is more likely we'll just use digital currency at some point in the future and this current experiment will be a dead end.

Ironicaly, video games are kind of creating environments for radicalization.

Just not in the way the "think of the children" think.

Those Amber Alert noises are excessive. I have had them go off after midnight and they can wake an entire house.
