13 News Phoenix - FEC complaint calls for federal probe of Sen. Kyrsten Sinema spending

Complaint alleges Sinema is living a life of luxury by illegally diverting campaign funds for personal use.

If the complaint is substantiated, Sinema could be forced to pay back funds that were improperly spent, Ryan said. In extreme cases, politicians who misuse public funds can face criminal prosecution.”Ultimately, this is something that could go to the Department of Justice and my suggestion is that it should go to the Department of Justice for further investigation,” Ryan said.

She can also resign and let Hobbs appoint Gallego to the Senate.

Wishful thinking!

How can half the country be doing good things while the other half is doing bad? :(

Lot of facists parading around as Republicans.

It's because the feds are more beholden to their donors than Minnesota's are and their donors are more conservative than most people realize.

"Let's wait and see if we can completely bypass the terrorist's threats and do this without harming any innocent civilians at the very last moment before they pull the trigger and blow up the country."

Excellent planning there. :like:

Feels like the plan has always been to cave to the MAGA freaks. Sounds cynical but they’ve had months and, just like Dobbs, seem to have nothing but pithy tweets.

Caving would hurt too many poor and old folks. They better not. :(

It's so frustrating watching Minnesota pass piles of ground-breaking legislation on a 1-vote majority when federal Dems and places like New York just refuse to get things done even with secure control.

Minnesota DFL had control of the governor’s mansion and the state House for several years so they were trying to pass a lot of this legislation with an R controlled state Senate that blocked most of it. So when the DFL captured the Senate last year, they remained focused on making sure they could pass their agenda with that 1 vote in the Senate. And they’ve done a LOT.

I hope if NC regains a Dem trifecta in the future, they do what MN has done. And I hope Tim Moore and Phil Berger are still around to see all their awful legislation thrown in the trash.

Coulda shoulda woulda won't help us now.....

I've not heard of either one of them, lol.
