I would keep an eye on North Carolina next year. Anderson Clayton, the new head of the NC Democratic Party, said yesterday at the presser regarding the turncoat legislator that they were going to make abortion a focal point for next year’s gubernatorial election. (Especially since the R front runner, the current anti choice lieutenant governor who paid for a mistress’s abortion years ago.)

She’s 25, she successfully flipped control of a city council and a state legislative seat in Person County where she resides. And like Ben Wikler, she’s all about “win baby, win” so hopefully they’ll hit Rs with the same kind of attack ads they use.
