No elections in CA are 'jungle' primaries where the top two - whoever they are, party doesn't matter - advance to November's general election. The Democrats are dividing their vote among the announced candidates in the primary while that won't happen in the general.

I've got no beef with Schiff or Barbara Lee. In fact, she was very helpful in our contract negotiations and is a really good person, but I really think Katie Porter is an extraordinary person who will hold the corporate feet to the fire, so I want to give her every opportunity to do so.

I don't see Manchin being able to keep his seat in the senate and hope it doesn't drive him to some 3rd party run with a repub and calling it "centrist". Who the hell thinks Manchin is a centrist candidate? Answer is "Too many".

He really doesn’t understand the job of the mayor and panders to white grievance to elevate himself.
