I can't see any of the Republicans beating Biden right now, really. Nor any of the Dems currently running against him.

Biden is a known quantity and I think he beats Trump. Are there others I'd prefer over Biden? Sure, but the main thing is to keep the WH, and senate, and take back the house. It's the only way things are going to get done.

Plus, on a policy level, I think Biden has done quite well; both foreign and domestic. He somehow managed to get Turkey on board with Sweden joining NATO/OTAN; which is a big, big deal. What he gave away, I don't know, but the guy has shown he knows how to negotiate a deal and has done it on multiple occasions. I'll take the Biden bird in hand for this cycle,...thank you very much. I don't "think" Newsom beats Biden, but if he jumps in, the eventual winner will be weakened. That's not what we need right now.

Maybe Biden should write a book about it. I'd call it "The Art of the Deal".

Lol, I think it's Biden's time as a senator that's serving him well. He has experience in compromise that sadly lost to the current Congress today.
