Discussion: The REPUBLICAN Party VI

...anything that I could say on the subject of "Obama having nothing but disdain for republicans" has already been said by DA. You don't bend over backwards trying to appease people you "disdain".

Except he didn't bend over backwards. He gave off the illusion that he did, but in reality, he did no such thing.

Obama has played the victim brilliantly ever since Republicans have took control of Congress. Where as they made his desire to not work with him clear from the start, he on the other hand acted as if he did then gave them proposals that he knew they would never accept and when they predictably turned them down he said, "See! I tried! They won't work with me!"

Not everyone see it that way...those left of center may, others, right of center don't. Those in between.....who knows.

Buchanan is claiming if Romney gets the nod, there will be a 3rd party revolt by the Tea Party.

Agreed...not exactly an endorsement for being the Republican Nominee.

Mmmmhmmm....You didn't actually watch the video, did you? ;)

^I was more concerned with the horrid thought of Sarah Palin liking what anybody said. Not only will the idea Paul is a crazy old man increase because she said anything positive about him, but she's a fruitcake in general and if she likes anything it's usually for something odd.

So in other words, you didn't watch it? :oldrazz:

She never really had a shot in New Hampshire anyway. Still, when you have an entire paid staff walking out....that isn't good.

I hope she does try that. It would split the vote on the Right and hand the election to Obama.:woot:

I don't see that happening. The Right is just so damned determined to beat Obama that they'll begrudgingly support Romney just to get rid of him. We're already starting to see that. Add in the fact that independents have abandoned Obama and would never vote for a crazy Tea Party candidate like Bachmann to begin with.

And "official" Tea Party candidate would be a blip on the radar. Tea Party candidate Scott Ashjian got less than 1% of the vote in 2010 in Nevada's Senate race.
