Morning Joe had Chris Christie talking about Trump's "solutions" for the opioid crisis and they segway for 5 minutes to discuss how bad legalizing cannabis was.

    It was sickening.

Canada is legalizing cannabis in 2018. My husband wants to get into the business in BC. Lots of money to be made.

Most Americans support legal weed. Which means weed won't be legalized for decades.

Legalization is moving much faster than I ever expected.

And with vast majority support from the public, cannabis research and studies going mainstream, and California, one of the biggest economies on the planet, legalizing...the prohibitionist are on borrowed time.

Decades is very fast. By American standards. Don't underestimate the inertia of congress.

We need complete and total legalization at this point. It's time.

They could have executed the prisoner. That should be standard policy.

I support legalization of marijuana, but that’s about it. I definitely don’t support legalizing cocaine and heroin and other hard drugs.

The men that run the cartels and syndicates, if it weren't for the war on drugs most of those guys would be car washers and janitors.

Prohibition does one thing really well and one thing really poorly.

It empowers evil men really well.

It stops people from taking drugs really poorly.

If someone was really commited to stopping government waste and overreach as well being concerned about "freedom" then decriminalization and legalization are the only answers, both practical and moral.

Then we can tax it, and I say we do so to fund first responders. No local community would have to ever worry about that if half of the state's take for drug sales went to treatment options for addicts and to shore up pensions etc. for first responders. It's win-win but... Some people have a morality stuck in 1949.

But a Warren presidency would be just as fruitless as a Biden presidency.
