This is also why the concept of 'election day' where you have really 12 hours actually is stupid and suppressive. Because of stuff going wrong unintentionally or intentionally, massive lines during a pandemic or not, it can essentially ruin or taints the outcome of an election. The concept of a 12 hour block for an election should be consigned into the dustbin of history.
