This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]469895[/split]
Ultimately Incredibles is his baby and Pixar will never move forward without him in doing a sequel. The argument I'll make which might be a reason for the lack of sequel is that Incredibles really isn't a story that needs continuing or to be franchised. It's really the story of a family struggling to live a normal life and by the time the films ends they get exactly that.
yeah......but the ending certainly teased more adventures.

Song has to be Let it Go, even though all the music was good to great.yeah......but the ending certainly teased more adventures.

Watched it again tonight and enjoyed it even more, I think it might be my favourite Disney movie ever, the setting is just amazing and the elements within it are so well contained and so visually incredible.
Favourtie character was Anna followed by Christophe and Sven!Song has to be Let it Go, even though all the music was good to great.

it would be nice, but I'm not sure if Frozen can quite reach $400m.
it's still holding up relatively well, but the momentum has slowed way down. QUOTE]
It's weekdays are slower, but that's to be expected after the holidays ended, but this weekend it is officially estimated at 8.9m, that's down just 18.5% from last weekend. That's an excellent drop, and typical of this late run. To put it in perspective, Tangled made 3m on the exact same weekend and still managed another 14m, that would be about 42 more for Frozen with the same pattern, about 390, but Frozen has been holding about 10% better than tangled, plus we have that sing-along expansion, a real wildcard.
The numbers change even more if the weekend estimates change, and Frozen might have a shot at 10m, which would give it the 3rd biggest 9th weekend of all time.
This is coming off Frozen having the 3rd highest 5th weekend, 3rd highest 6th weekend, 4th highest 7th weekend and 4th highest 8th weekend of all time.
Frozen is a leggy beast, like a mini Avatar and Titanic (which are #1 and #2 for all those weekends)
I also thought that the ending is open-ended enough to leave some possibilities for a sequel. C'mon, I'm sure the Under-Taker won't be the only super-villain the family will face in the future. And they can set the story several years down the line when Jack-Jack is much older, and it will create even more story by itself.

Probably something like that, but it's been awhile since I've watched The Incredibles.
