No. I have a girlfriend now, but before I got with her I found it easier to go out alone -- it seems to give you more reason to speak with new people because you don't have the safety of your friends to rely on. Also, then there's only one of you to screw things up; the amount of times I've been shot down in flames because a mate has said something stupid or off-putting is unreal.

I fly solo. I don't use a wingman. I find doing my own thing allows me to get in and get out a lot faster.

I understand the pro's of having one, but I have always opted to fly solo. I've always been a bit of a lone wolf anyways. Maybe at some point I'll use a wingman, but until that day, I am doing my thing, my way at my speed, flying solo.

I have friends, and when we go out, we go out together...

I find going out alone by yourself just creepy to begin with, whether you are attempting to get laid or not.

I don't necessarily have a wingman, but they're there. They usually suck at wingmanning though.

^I contest that statement . . . I go out alone a lot, but usually I meet up w/ people . . . I mean, if you're the lone creepy guy, yeah that's creepy; but if you're 'alone', and popular, it adds a whole new mystique . . .

the problem is I don't really have a good 'wingman' . . . I DO have one buddy, who's good looking and would make a great wingman but he SLACKS! plus he has a girlfriend right now, and he doesn't sufficiently 'wing' the ladies . . .

the other thing is I hang out w/ a lot of ladies, and they actually make better wingmen (or wingwomen I should say ) than guys . . . because a girl you just met is more likely to talk to you if you're already in the presence of other lovelies . . .

that is NOT an effective wingman : you have to have a kind of strategy . . . I'd be like "Dude, be MY wingman this week, and NEXT week, YOU go in for the kill and I'll wing YOU" what's so hard about that . . . fuackin cockblockers :

My wingman is a wingwoman(best friend since elementary school)......she tags along with me when or if I go out anywhere.

She still tags along with me and my current girlfriend but not as much....I don't think her and my girlfriend get along that well.

another technique if you're out alone, or don't have a wingman is to befriend the bartenders where you go . . . especially if they're female . . . this gives you a chance to practice your 'game' on them, cuz they can't really go anywhere, and you'll look cool talking to them (unless of course you're not cool )
