Do the Kardashian's deserve to be such a mainstream American media topic?

Bruce wants to be a woman that is still attracted to men and no plans for surgery. That setup a Diane Sawyer interview. Are they starting to scrape the bottom of barrel yet?

They are constantly featured in the news, but we argue they aren't relevant. What is this phenomena?

Up until today I have never acknowledged her existence, and I'm only doing it now so I can say "No", no she doesn't. The less we acknowledge her the better. Now excuse me while I go back to not acknowledging her existence.

No, they don't deserve it.

It's very disquieting to me that a person no longer has to be talented, or even hot, to be rich and famous. It's not just the Kardashians either. All those shows on the TLC network with the people that have a ****load of kids and get famous annoy me too.

Where's my reality tv show? I'm just as talentless as those folks and can even be hot when I feel like it!:oldrazz:

I think the quick social media fame makes this even worse. The timing of that platform and Kardashian show really made it extend even further.

People like the Kardashians exemplify all that's wrong with today's ultra voyeuristic, ultra apathetic culture. It would be nice if people just chilled out and went back to minding their own business unless it's a case of life and death.

I'm genuinely not sure what they're famous for.

They're just another symptom of a shallow culture, they're not the disease.

Beauty and money is what matters to shallow people the most.

They're actually the gift that keeps on giving.

No, they don't deserve it. Not in the least.

I thought it was also cause the father was lawyer in that old OJ 90's case.

The sex tape was their shoe in to exploit the family as much as possible.

If you want to blame anyone for the Kardashian name being put out there so much, blame the mother and Ryan Seacrest. Sure the sex tape started it, but those two kept it going.

Seems like the ones who try to avoid it as much as possible is Rob Kardashian and Bruce's older kids.

:hmr: <===8

Alright that made me laugh. :woot:

And no attention******es like them need to be shut up and ignored. Same with 99% of reality tv "stars".

It's not in support of Kardashians and points out an issue with their popularity in media coverage.

The funny thing is, besides the Kardashians, there really aren't any well known reality stars anymore. I think people finally just stopped paying attention to most of them.

If not in SS, I'm quite sure we will see Harley in her most popular costume by way of a batsolo film.
