Do you agree with a TMNT movie without Shredder as Villain?

First of all I want to say I think this movie will be awsome, but I don't like the idea of Shredder not being a Villain.

I don't mind that he's dead (like he's supposed to be) and someone else had to be the baddie.

Let's see some new villains for once. Shredder's always been done and old hat.

Case in point, Batman Begins did NOT use the Joker. They used villains who weren't in the movies before.

you want Shredder AGAIN!?!? Ughhh I'm sick of him and glad he's not the villain. He should've been killed in the first one (how he survived what he did defy's all scientific laws) He was awfull in the 2nd film and it ruined his character, which sucked cause he was such a formidable foe in the first film. And I mean please he drinks the mutagen and his armor mutates as well?????? WHAT THE HELL? I was pissed as a little kid when I saw that. Rat King and Baxter Stockman (the comic book versions) should be villains in a film before they even consider bringing back Shredder. I am a little pissed that we have'nt heard anything on Rat King or Stockman being in this film as there time has come. But still this movie looks awsome My number one thing I wanna see is Raph shove his sai's in some punk (thus killing him)

I think they should put Leatherhead the Alligator in the movie---i think it would make for some good CGI

They're already using a bunch of mutated animals in the film...so Leatherhead might be possible (though he is only an enemy in the old 80's toon)

I'm glad there is no Shredder. There are TONS more interesting villans in the TMNT world.

The only way Shredder could come back is if:

1. They use the new cartoon and make Shredder an Utrom (which was ****ing stupid.)

2. He arises from the depths of New York harbor like if Doc Ock would and he's still Super Shredder hellbent on turning the Turtles into Turtle-soup.

I'm actually excited to see Karai come in and I hope Lucy Lui or Zhang Ziyi or Michelle Yeow or Ming- Na Wen plays her because she's going to be a really good formidable foe.

I wonder if/when The Shredder does come back, will these new films ignore the whole Super Shredder thing we saw in Part 2? The reason I say this, is because I would have a hard time picturing THAT Shredder returning and re-organizing the foot clan. Honestly, I would prefer a Shredder more like the one in the first movie, or the way he was presented in the first season of the New cartoon than Super Shredder.

But I suppose if Super Shredder does return, Kevin Nash might not be too far behind either.

honestly, I think Karai might reluctantly help the turtles in this film, but may don Shred s armor and take up the mantle in a possible sequel

im sorta divided. i mean shredder is THE villian of TMNT, but i'd also be interested in seeing someone new. basically, i don't care what they do....as long as it turns out good, who cares

Personally, I'm pretty glad we'll be seeing a new villain in this movie. Y'know, Shredder's Shredder, but it'll be cool to see something new, something (hopefully) fresh.

An as others have said, Shredder should be/probably will be returning for a sequel, so it's not like we'll never see the TMNT's arch-enemy again.

I just hope this new movie makes enough money to warrant making a sequel so we can all see Shredder return. It's somewhat of a gamble to not include him in a film that re-introduces the TMNT to the general audiences, but it might actually just pay off. Let's hope so.
