I wonder do some of you regift your x-mas/birthday/whatever presents to someone else? I admit I did it a few times with some gifts I have no way to return to the stores and I knew a friend would want it

I definitely would do that if I ever got any presents.

No, but I will let stuff rott in the corner if I don't like it

No. But I do let crap sit around or give it away or return it.

i'm sure.
i'm sure you don't even regift.
you're that jerk that opens it, rolls your eyes, and asks for the receipt while mumbling "this sucks" under your breath.

True, but I don't say it under my breath.

If you don't like a present, give it to charity, don't be an arse and re-give it to someone you know unless they have specifically asked for it...

you might as well not bother

ooooO!
that's a splendid idea!
i never regift, but most of my family does.
i'll just request that from now on if they don't like my gifts again:cmad:

Occassionally. If it's something I know I'll never have a use for.

And a lot of the stuffed animals I got as a child are being regifted to my son now. Mostly because he comes into my office, sees them on a shelf and points at them.

My mom will actually call me and say... "you bought me too many things" (I get her food baskets for Christmas). "Do you mind if I give some of it to the neighbours?" My answer is "It's yours now to do with it as you want to". (Better it get used then go to waste)

I haven't, although now that I'm trying to clear some of my clutter a lot of my CDs are getting given to my sister, that sort of thing.

Nah it's wrong. I was going to recycle a valentine's card, that I didn't end up using...

but it seemed wrong and immoral. so I didn't. :o

Hah that's great, keep the message and just replace the name :woot:

heh, in elementary school, a guy i was "dating" walked into my classroom and put a plastic bear filled with jellybeans with some balloons attached on it on valentine's day

by the end of the day i'd found out that another girl who had a crush on him had given it to him

he was a real winner

i haven't regifted yet, but i also have a lot of crap lying around like the others. my mom does it, because one person can only own so many serving dishes.

Yeah, I did it a few times.

I do it to nearly every gift I get, people most often buy gift that they would like to get themselves.
