Do You Speed?

I rarely go over 70-75 freeway. I've done 100 once just to say I have.

Yeah I usually go 5-10 over the limit (unless I get distracted and don't pay attention to the speed).

If its a 30mph speed limit & the road is empty I'd maybe be doing 40ish at the very most..

On motorways I rarely would exceed 70mph.. usually only if I want to overtake someone.

I'd never been speeding to get anywhere in a hurry, I happen to know that even if your going 10mph over the speed limit (depending on the distance of course) your only going to save yourself 1 or maybe 2 mins at the very most.
I dunno how everyone else feels but I'd sacrifice being 2 mins late if it means I don't have to drive like a *****e pissing other drivers off as well as increasing my chances of having some form of accident.

Yep.

I'm either a fireman, ambulance driver, policeman, race car driver, or something else that allows you to surpass the speed limit legally or I live in a place that has no speed limits.

I'll do 80 in a 65 mph zone.
65 in a 55 mph
Speed limit in 25 or 35, because that's residential areas and I wouldn't want to cause an accident.

I don't speed at night though, way too many deer to watch out for in Wisconsin, especially now that fall is setting in.

It's like when I lived in Atlanta. The speed limit on I-75 through the city is 55mph, but doing anything less than 70 will get you run over.

Ah-ha! So you're that guy behind me on the highway. I'm doing 75 in 65 and you're riding my bumber like I'm only doing 45. I hate those guys.



Actually, I love seeing the speed demons get pulled over. Once had a Mercedes go flying by me, I was doing about 75, so they must have been going around 85-90. A few miles up the road, there they are, pulled over, trying to ex[lain themselves to Johnny Law. I just honked and waved.
