The original Warner Home Video releases, with the corny "WHV" logo, and the short with Bugs and Daffy advertising the Warner Brothers catalog on the Batman '89 tape? On the old Batman Forever tape there is a soundtrack promo before the film.

Yep. I have all four of them on VHS. Even Batman and Robin *hangs head in shame*. Got each of them when they were released back in the day.

I wonder if that Warner Bros. Catalog ad is on youtube? *goes to check*

I just bought a holiday 1989 warner bros. catalog on eBay. and a summer 1992 catalog. I can't wait to see what Batman merchandise they were selling.

yeah i sure do, heres some pics for the little 10 year olds on here who were barley even alive when B&R came out.... shame because those were the days, too bad i guess my generation is the only ones who knew what it was like to be a teenager and be in a theater watching batman forever (which wasnt that great but at the time it was awesome.. kind of like how the fantastic four movie is right now to some people) Heres a a pic i took of my MOTP vhs. MOTP was awesome back then as well, a BTAS movie was what everyone wanted to see back then so when it came out it was so awesome. I remember how huge the Batman Forever hype was too, it was ridiculas

I remember seeing Batman Forever in the theater. Because I became massively sick after from eating too much candy.

I remeber seeing Batman Forever at the theatre and finding myself missing Keaton. :csad:

Yes, I do. All of them.

You cant watch a Warner Bros. movie without a Warner Bros. ballcap!

lol, I actually bought a bunch of those old warner catalogs today on ebay:

i have returns through B&R, but my vhs copy of 89 was taped off of HBO in like 90, so it doesn't have any promos or anything.

I only have Forever in VHS. I used to watch the last 20 minutes or so of the movie every day.

I still have the 60's movie on VHS.

I still have Batman '89 on Beta, even tho I don't have a Beta machine.

(For those of you who don't know Beta was like a mid 1980's Blu-ray that lost to VHS because of Sony marketing mistakes.)

I own a Betamax player (we still have it because we have soooo many home movies from our old Betacam).

beta had better quality then vhs, but they didnt allow porno so i guess vhs won the battle...

VHS was easier to rent too I guess, and it allowed longer recording times.

I had both the original '89 Batman tape with Diet Coke and a 1997 letterbox VHS of Batman '89.

Still have the old '89 tape but gave away the letterbox VHS when the special edition DVD's came out.

I still own all my old Disney tapes and probably won't sell them because I'm too cheap to replace them all with DVD's. :D

also Beta charged companys a fee to print their movie's on them, so it was cheaper for companys to releases their movies on vhs and eventually no-one was releasing Beta's anymore and it died.

I just watched Batman on VHS and I don't know what it is, but it feels so much more fun than watching it on DVD. I guess it's just nostalgia?
