I think it will be an interesting way to go with Jesse's Lex.

Thoughts on it actually happening?

Hard to say until DOJ comes out. Right now, based on what we've seen and heard...I'd say no. His public face is a little too awkward and hammy for me to believe that anyone could take him seriously as a presidential candidate. But then again...there's Donald Trump.

I like Jesse Eisenberg, but there are certain things that I felt would be thrown right out of the window with him being cast. The Lexosuit and being President are just a few of those things. I could not take him seriously with those two elements being brought into the equation.

I agree the Lexosuit would be weird for EisenLex but remember what we've seen of his Lex in the latest trailer is a facade bar his scene with Lois. We've not seen the "real" Lex so to speak.

Somewhere in the future of the DCEU, would be a damn good storyline to adapt.

I don't think this Lex is suited to that story so far. I think he'll quickly go from eccentric billionaire to publicly known villain.

it has nothing to do with his masked personality in the trailer, but rather when he was first cast. Jesse Eisenberg is playing a different kind of lex than we've seen before, which I can appreciate. But President isn't one of those things. At least not for this incarnation of the character.

I'll quote the man himself from JLU:[YT]sI0vtqxoG1k[/YT]

"President? Do you know how much power I would have to give up to be President?"

Good point old man. That doesn't mean he can't endorse a puppet president.

Nah, he's below the right age for that position.

Jesse is 32 so it's not that long a wait.
