The more change the better!
Bring on the web-pits!
Plot twist, Spidey will have red lines on his symbiote costume.
Would love that!
The original design of the symbiote suit was actually black with a red spider and red embellishments.
This is the original concept design before it was changed and put into print during Stern's run.
The irony. On second thought, that actually looks really cool.
Web pits is all i need.
Reilly suit please and thank you.
To be fair, you also predicted web-pits and Bagley eyes. Also, I don't think any of us thought they would actually use those TASM2 lenses again, we just were talking about our ideal suits.
And heck, you were even a tad wishy washy on the "it's not gonna change" prediction, too:
I'm continuing to warm up to the Civil War costume, although recently I got my picture taken with a guy in the most awesome Raimi Spider-Man suit, and that triggered some love for that one again. It's amazing that we got a suit as good as that when other superheroes were getting the black leather jacket treatment.
Nah, I said 'I'd love to have real Bagley/Ultimate lenses (not half-***** TASM2 garbage), but Romita/Ditko are a lot more likely because they already went the 'larger' route.' And I actually had argument with somebody a few days before the suit was revealed who argued that TASM2 lenses are likely to be used... So yeah.
I'd like to see the suit evolve over time. Nothing drastic right away.
As someone said, I'd really love to see Reilly's costume on the big screen
and also all the other different costumes from Spidey's rich history
Not saying I'd like to see Ben Reilly himself per se... only his Spider-Man costume with the big spider on the front (or even his Scarlet Spider outfit), worn by regular MCU Peter Parker. And I think MARVEL will definity go this route, seeing how they changed Cap's and Iron Man's suits over the course of several films.
This way we would see all thos different designs on the big screen, without adapting the clone saga etc. I can even imagine Spider-Man 2099' costume one day! also worn by regular Peter, not Miguel O'Hara.
edit: I'm just trying to get used to that idea ^^ because I firmly believe MARVEL will (drastically) change the costume for the upcoming sequels/event films
I can imagine they could maybe like have Spidey's suit so damaged in a fierce battle that he just can't use it, but he needs a substitute as fast as possible so he jumbles up together the Scarlet Spider outfit
You mean just little changes like symbol change?
I would love to see the Scarlet Spider suit. Of course I think that Ben Reilly should be the one to wear it, but that's probably never going to happen, so it would be cool to see it somehow.
If the series goes well, the Clone Saga should be adapted in some fashion. I really wanna see Ben Reilly.
If they do the Clone Saga, hopefully they take more things from the ''Real Clone Saga'' from 2009 (?) and the Ultimate version. If there is something the MCU doesn't needs is Spidercide and Judas Traveler.
Yeah, not full-blown but the important stuff. I'd love to see a Spider-Man franchise that'd eventually have both Ben and Kaine, for example.
I also think they could easily get away with having one of the clones step away from Peter's shadow and go through facial reconstruction to appear differently, hence not giving us like three Tom Hollands.
Long shot but I'd love it.
I myself am expecting for the day that they adapt the Ends of Earth storyline, imagine an Adult Seasoned Peter leading the charge of the Avengers against his rogue's gallery of villains to save the world
And as a plus, the Armor:
But do they or do they not adapt Dying Wish/Superior Spider-Man?
Depends if they decide to adapt Miles instead
OOOOOOOOO. I'm actually hoping for Miles when Peter's older.
I would love to see a more personal movie with a lower budget, where we follow Ben when he travels around America, lost and without a purpose. And then we have Kaine following him from city to city, making his life a living hell. A constant reminder of the past Ben wants to forget. In the end, Ben realises that he can't keep on running from who he is, even if he's just a clone. He can't keep on running from his past, when his past is here in the present, hurting innocent people. So Ben creates a homemade Scarlet Spider costume, to deal with Kaine, and his past, once and for all.
I pretty much want everything from the 90's comics onward to be ignored for the time being, save for minor supporting characters. And I never want to see the clone saga.
