Revenge of the Fallen Do you wish James Cameron directed it?

Well considering Cameron is my favourite director and IMO the best one out there (and I havent even seen Avatar!) I think he would have made an absolutely superb TF movie, in fact, I have no doubts about that.

I have seen Avatar and it was fantastic!! but he sat on the story/script for 12 yrs or so, ok --he was waiting for CGI to catch up to his vision and I'm glad he did, but I wouldn't want to wait that long for the 3rd Transformers to come around, at least with Bay you get a movie (whether you like it or not) quickly and on time:grin::applaud

You mean he copied the story/script 12 years ago right?

no i have no respect for James Cameron because he trashed film festivals he is a swipe artist to .

Harlan Ellison sued james cameron for plagiarism While Cameron was doing interviews to publicize The Terminator, ... Ellison sued, and the case was quickly settled for an undisclosed amount and an amended "acknowledgement to the works of Harlan Ellison" in the movie's credits. ...

peter Jackson should have directed transformers .

Cameron would have given a much greater sci fi feel to the movies. A greater purpose if you will. The "boy and his car" theme, the robots as side characters, the sex jokes, the parents, tuturro, etc none of that would have been there. Basically cut all the cheese out and replace with a better focus.

After watching that scene in avatar where the bad guy uses that robot, I was convinced he could have made TF a really great movie.

My only pick above Cameron would be Blomkamp(sp?) from District 9 fame. I think he could do a REALLY good tf move.

I'd rather cameron fix Ironman or Fantastic Four.
