Doctor Strange Bluray

Yes, a week before. It was the same for Civil War. I think that before we got blu-rays early too or at the same time as U.S.. I guess that something changed.

Oh well, at least this is fairer to you guys.

Can you access the Digital format when they hit on-line stores the same time we do?

yep, we get the movies a little bit earlier (most of the time) but the BR a little bit later than the US.
The only time when that really annoys is with the TV shows (still waiting for the AoS S2 BR) when it takes years (or longer) to get the DVD or BR

That should be possible, I think. But I wont buy the film more than once, despite it having been quite good. :D

well that stinks! I still need AoS season 2 myself either bluray or dvd

Wasn't sure, I remember trying to buy the Man of Steel score early from Europe, but, couldn't.

Does anybody have the art for the discs themselves yet? I was kind of hoping they would use the Magic shield

I'm glad they've gone back to including the dvd with the blu ray! I guess they got a bunch of complaints.

Not including the DVD with the Blu-Ray had been a pet peeve of mine for a while. Especially considering that I've only just recently made the transition to Blu-Ray (Civil War was my first purchase). Just one more reason to get the Phase 1 and 2 box sets eventually.

On a separate note, I'm looking forward to seeing the deleted scenes. That was probably my main criticism of the film as it felt to me at least that they possibly cut a tad too much footage in certain parts.

Releases here in the UK have not included the DVD in the Blu Ray packs for ages and I haven't cared. I left DVD behind as a format years ago. Like if I bought the Blu Ray why would I care about the DVD, I'd never watch it.

Blu-ray + dvd's were great during the transition phase. I had PS3, but my friends didn't. I could loan combo backs or take dvd with me if playstation was occupied. But now that almost everyone has multiple Blu-ray systems, I'd agree that this benefits only a small group.

I understand that the PPV is due Feb 28 the same day the DVD is available

14 days.
I'm honestly considering purchasing a 4K blu-Ray player and a 4K bluray edition just for this. Do the 4K editions come out the same day as the regular ones?

EDIT: Nevermind, just saw that Disney doesn't do 4K. Disappointing, I just bought a 4K 65 inch TV and I know it'd look gorgeous.

I need to get a 3D system. There's a few films I want to see in 3D again lol

I bought a 3D system some years ago, and got a lot of movies available on 3D to see on it. Some, it makes a difference, some, not so much. I watched this movie digitally last night, 3D not available, and I think it is a tad less immersive. Of course my television, while a nice size, is much smaller than the IMAX where I first saw it. I do think the 3D version I will buy here in 2 weeks will be one that truly matters seeing it in 3D. Either way, it was really nice finally owning the movie, and being able to watch it whenever I want.

I've yet to see why people love these unboxing videos or why they pop up so often.

Why would anyone want to know how the packaging looks before they buy an item or decide which version they want to buy?

Because there are many versions of one Movie Bluray/DVD. Target has exclusive stuff, Walmart has theirs, Best Buy has the steelbook, people who are strapped for cash depend on all kinds of "unboxing" videos.

That's what I've heard a few times. The 3d doesn't have the same effect as it does in the theater. I don't have a LARGE apartment in the first place. My flat screen's a 34 ", and that's pushing it on size for what I have IN my apartment in the first place lol

So there is a reason. Imagine that.

I decided on the 3D version based on that video. I like the packaging enough to pay $3 more than I paid for Civil War 3D.

Yeah not to mention the PRICE of said 3D systems I can't afford too lol
I love the Marvel Steelbooks They're AWESOME. I LOVE the Book-Look for DS anyway lol

Just picked up my copy but won't watch till tomorrow.
