1. It's been April Fools Day everywhere today. 2. Every single "special" ep of Doctor Who is being said to be Matt's last these days.

Jenna is perfect. Like the exact opposite of Karen, but just as perfect. Moffat is two for two.

I still haven't seen the new episode, but saw a preview for the next episode. Reminds me a lot of Karen and Matt's second episode, The Beast Below, which I love so it is all good.

Just read the news on Tennant and Piper. I understand the return of past Doctors, and would love a quick glimpse of them all, but Piper, why? Are they going top bring up that awful other world stuff?

in order for a Zygon to shapeshift into somebody, they need to have the original living body stored away in a nearby machine. So even if it turns out to be Zygons impersonating the Doctor and/or Rose, that still means the real Doctor and/or Rose are somewhere close and need to be woken up.

Yeah as much as I enjoy the RTD years, mostly for tennents doctor and Donna, I much prefer moffats style. A lot more...interesting, I guess is the word. He gets really creative and abstract with his ideas.

Even back when Davies was the head writer, Moffat wrote better episodes.

Of course, now all the best episodes are being written by Whithouse and Gaiman, but Moffat is still churning out better individual episodes than Davies. And the decision to write more one-part episodes is working in Moffat's favor, because he's less likely than Davies to crash and burn after a decent build-up.

Never heard of him, but I'm sure he'd be better than Russel T Davies.

In all seriousness, I respect that you prefer the Davies era, though I disagree with you completely and utterly. But repeatedly complaining that Moffat isn't Davies doesn't really add anything to this at all.

It's funny, in general (and I am generalizing), the British prefer RTD and Americans prefer Moffat. I always thought RTD just wrote good stories, whereas Moffat uses lots of climaxes, special effects and paradoxes.

RTD did more DRAMA!!!

Moffat on the other hand uses time travel in his plots. He uses interesting twists and turns. He brought back the ****ING ZYGONS!!!!

Anyone who brings back the ****ING ZYGONS is better than anyone who didn't.
