Not that I ever thought it did....But now it's just more confirmed. Here you have a "reject" from that show not only going on to better things,...but she wins a friggin' Oscar!!! A big "IN YO' FACE!!!" to that joke of a show!

All of this cookie cutter manufactured pop has really dumbed down what music should be.

And how on earth is Paula Abdul judging "singers"?? Toni Braxton? yes. Gladys Knight? Yes. Anita Baker? Yes. Paula?......heck naaaaaww!! :woot:

And what is Simon's claim to fame???? The SPICE GIRLS????? :woot: :woot:

And Randy??? Naaaw Dawg.......:csad:


Jen Hudson's win was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. Phone voting and judges who can't sing just don't make sense to me.

I refuse to watch that piece of maggot ****. But I heard on Attack of the Show that one of the female's hase some rather risqué photos on the internet. I hope it doesn't turn out to be Clay Aiken in a wig.

I think most people now just want to get on the show for the exposure.
Even folks from the first show had gone on to do some other things in the entertainment business.

I don't know about any of the recent female AI-ers, but I do know that Frenchie from a past season had risque photos.

It was some sex photos of one of the hots girls on the show. Proven to not be her. Nice set of pics though. :o

heres the proof that the contestants on this show are talentless hacks:

the show has been on for what, 4 or 5 seasons? each season, AT LEAST the top 6 contestants get great exposure and are in a position to move onto great things after being on the show. but of all those contestants, how many have moved on to some form of a successful music career? like, one! (kelly clarkston). all the others, at best, have put out a single failed album and then disappeared. if they had any talent at all, they would have been able to move onto bigger and better things, having used the show and the attention they garnered as a launching point. so if the show isnt launching successful musicians (ont he contrary, its launching failed musicians), then what the hell is the point of the damn show?!?!

this is putting aside how trashy the show is....

Well I don't know if that's all true. I mean, don't many so-called "true" music fans always complain how the talentless hacks ARE the ones gaining fame, and it's the "real" artists that are being left behind in the dirt?

Not to say that all of the A.I. winners are musical geniuses, but just because they've been "voted by America" I wouldn't hold that against their singing talent. As someone said earlier, the show is a great launchpad for a future career, as it gets you tons of exposure.
