The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Does this movie really deserve the hate it gets?

B&R is watchable when viewed as a comedy and modern adaption of the Batman Adam West show.

You can also make a great drinking game out of B&R by taking a shot every time Mr. Freeze makes an ice pun.

But I find B&R watchable in a so bad it's fun and entertaining way. Whereas TASM 2 is just bad.

I don't consider TASM 2 that bad, I enjoyed it and it had A LOT of flaws, but it has positives.
I liked Electro, the chemistry between Andrew and Emma was great, Dane DeHann did well, and the ending was very well done because it did hit me hard even though I was told what happened

Plus, I don't consider it as good as some movies this year(GOTG,Cap 2,DOFP,etc.) except Bayformers 4
I refused to watch it because I knew it has the same crap from the previous films

No matter what people say about Batman And Robin, people will always remember it you know? Look at all the 90s Batman films. You just remember Batman And Robin the most.

Out of all the Superman films, I would say most people remember Superman 2 or Returns. MOS is too recent to be remembered.

My point is that if you're gonna be a bad film, at least be a memorable bad film.

Batman And Robin is terrible but memorable in it's own strange twisted way.

TASM2 isn't memorable IMO. You don't need to be a comic book movie fan to watch it because it adds nothing really.

I know the Adam west tv series was mildly ridiculous but B&R comes across as just painful. What am I saying, does anyone here like the Adam west series? I sure dont. I mean yeah there are some things that made me laugh when it comes to Adam's batman and the other actor who played as robin and even joker gave me a couple of chuckle and at a laughed painfully and miserably at that bat shark repellant thing but I don't actually believe many people even loved the old Adam west series besides that they are wonderful for gags, parodies and memes. People just enjoy the dark and gritty batman ftom the comics and other adaptations of the character, the dark and fun/adventurous tv series known as batman the animated series, the crime investigative batman and I know there are haters of brave and the bold out there but it's really not all that silly. In fact it's not even batman and robin silly. It actually takes itself quite seriously.

So the Adam west series is not particularly an excuse to use because not alot of people favor that series.

I'll say it's as bad as B&R in sine ways but at the same time I believe TASM 2 handles itself better with it's tone, so exit the characters, a little bit of the humor, the acting is quite great as well and has some good emotions while B&R was just bad and just bad enough to make us not see Chris o'donnel and alicia Silverstein in movies anymore because its amazing that with names like these it's amazing how a movie wrecked there careers and looking back in it I think that Chris would've made a fantastic Grayson. But sadly he was wasted like clooney. Then again George did say he was not a fan of the dark and emotionally torn batman

I'd have to agree being remembered for being bad is worth then being forgettable

this was more like, OK, so, just that happened, what next

in the grand scheme of things, its not going to go down in history as the gold standard example of bad movies

people wont refuse to acknowledge as part of continuous, but, may skip it while doing a movie marathon

Batman & Robin is so goofy and stupid it is watchable. It isn't good by any stretch of the imagination, in fact it is terrible, but it does provide some entertainment value in watching it. Even if it is just making fun of it. I would much rather watch Batman & Robin than a film like Catwoman or Ghost Rider.

I agree that it doesn't deserve that hate at all. It is a great CBM and I fell like people are just nick picking it to death. I have never been so confused by reviews for a movie has I am for this movie.

It was well written and plenty logical to me. This isn't Iron Man 3. There is plenty of direction to the plot. The action scenes are fantastic indeed, and the CGI has never been better(perhaps in any CBM)

Again, I agree spiderman2, The nitpicking astounds me really. I will never understand what movie people are watching. Ive thought the same about many recent movies lately though. Audiences are getting louder and louder, and the negatives will always be loudest and heard first.

Yeah I don't trust reviews heck tmnt I heard was really bad and I thought it was good. But this movie is just special so so good. This movie has ever thing. Great soundtrack, great CGI and action, spider man charteristic where perfect, so funny. I have never cared about chariters has much has I do in this movie, great love story emotinaly end. The only bad thing about this movie is goblins look and that to much was shown in the trailers and to much cut form the movie. It really is a same this movie doesn't get the respect it deserver and if sony didn't cut to much form the movie it would be consider a lot better has almost ever thing that was cut ether would have made the problems with the movie smaller or none exictie to begin with.
