i haven't read the script so i am just going by theory here but the mystique stuff is likely to be added back also since you can't skip from china to the mansion like its only a couple of miles away without something to fill that space inbetween and likewise going back

i do also wonder whether the sequence with msytique going to cerebro will be intertwined with magneto and iceman going to cerebro, in a similar way they cut between magneto and the dying mutants in the final as it would make sense as a way to connect them

i think they are keeping the early hype alive on rogue and they will probably show anything with rogue doing something that looks interesting in the probably small trailer but i suspect the final product will be more an extended cut then something that will meet expectations for rogue fans

From my recollection, the rescue sequence was unbroken by the past sequences. In fact, its not actually that long. More an in and out job

1:Kinberg only said 10 minutes cut from thetical release are edited back.Iceman suggesting they go after rogue.the resuce.On jet and back to temple would lead to 10 minutes
2:Iceman is killed much earlier and rogue is holding on to wolverine during sentinle attack so it's more a alternate cut than extended cut
3:Bryan Singer on Commantary on deleted scenes says they aren't being put back in alternate cut.Mystique's arrival at mansion was part of deleted scenes.

Xavier contacting mystique with cerebro and the whole Xavier,Beast,wolverine conversation in vintage tivo room would all go from cut if they changed 1973 scenes to include mystique destorying cerebro.

That is one scene though, the rest of it wasn't on the dvd like the scene with logan calling mystique a cold hearted b*tch that was in the trailer, the stuff with her and hank aswell as the stuff with cerebro, so unless that one scene is all we are ever gonna see of that whole sequence then it seems like those scenes have to go somewhere right?

plus the scene with logan waking up saying rogues name (just before hank comes in) is presumably because of the switch between kitty and rogue so that has to be somewhere in it right? which means there has to be an over night period and unless there is some really clever editing you probably might end up needing the mystique stuff too

See i don't know about that because was the airport scene even a reshoot? it could be mystique breaks cerebro and leaves so the scene at the airport is still there after they fix cerebro

and we know the vintage tivo room was part of a reshoot with hoults but was that a new scene or a reshoot of a scene they had filmed originally but with different lines from hank?

I do wonder that when i watch that scene because that was a late reshoot obviously and mcavoy must have cut his hair after they wrapped so he either got back into the hair extensions just for that reshoot or there was already a scene like that just edited with the new reshooted scenes

I got the impression seeing the kitchen scene online that the scene at airport replaced mystique at mansion during reshoots.I could be wrong on that.Not having the kitchen scene may make it hard to use rest of mystique at mansion
sequenze.Since in script rogue rescue and mystique at mansion were intercut with each other i can admit I may be wrong but 10 minutes would mean the rogue stuff would be added.

It doesn't mean they will just put everything not on deleted scene on initial blu-ray back In film.Richard Donnor on Superman and superman II didn't put everything he shot back in on Superman special edition and his cut of Superman II.James Cameron doesn't put everything back In when he does
Special editions of his film.Ridley Scott left out a hospital scene in his final cut of blade runner.

Hopefully Bryan Singer does commantary for rogue cut of DOFP so we can have answers what was shot originally and what was done in reshoots once they dropped the rogue sub-plot.

If some things that I mentioned won't make the Rogue Cut, they would have been added to "deleted scenes" section of X-Men: DOFP's original Blu-ray release. So its either they are gonna add them on the Rogue cut or we won't see them.

This sounds about right. With the "we won't see them" part being more likely. I mean they could've given us Storm's complete conversation with Xavier about her background in X3 for example, but they decided to just keep that from us. t:

Fans of original films should enjoy rogue cut because seeing original version shot for futre scenes with rogue's scenes reedited back Into film with more of Iceman and older Xavier and Magneto will be just about the last time trilogy versions of characters will be seen with exception of Wolverine in solo film has memory of films no longer in "Contunity" after time travel mission In DOFP.Now while we could see original cast again there will be "Alternate versions" of the characters.

I really can't see it being anything other than the Rogue rescue sequence restored, and the continuity reshuffling that comes from that (Logan's "Rogue" scene, Kitty dying etc)

All signs point to patrick stewart returning for wolverine film.It also likely Ian Mckellen cameos In APocalypse and it'w withen the realm of possibilty Anna
Paquin could be In Wolverine too.So original actors could return they will just be different versions of characters.

As for rogue cut based on what has been said I think we are mostly looking at the rogue scenes being restored returning the future scenes to what they were
with Iceman dying earlier during rescue and rogue holding wolverine during sentinle attack.

While it would be nice to see the extended arrival at temple unlikely to see that.While they could make changes to 1973 part of film they may not.
Not having kitchen scene shown ind eleted scenes may make it tough to include other parts of mystique at mansion sequenze they cut.I will freely admit i coulc be wrong.however 10 minutes would add to rescue and rogue scenes.
