How great wouldn't it be if Disney studios decided to make a Donald Duck motion picture, with real actors. I have been thinking about this for ages, even written short stories around it.
The film will have Donald and the nephews, but also focus a lot on Scrooge McDuck (with flashbacks from his gold digging youth). Have them go on treasure hunts. Show Scrooge's rivalry with Flintheart Glomgold, or John D Rockerduck.
Magica de Hex should be after his first dime. Beagle Boys should be trying to empty his money bin. Gyro Gearloose should invent high tech stuff.
Marco Rota and Don Rosa should be heavily involved as producers and creative consultants.
I know this will be successful!
A more crime-esque sequel can have Mickey Mouse and Goofy helping Chief O'Hara to catch Black Pete, Emil Eagle, Idgit the midget and Phantom Blot.
I see Ian McKellen in the role of Scrooge and Richard E Grant as Goofy.
Any other ideas for actors?
