G.O.A.T at the top. As it should be.

I will always purchase a 'physical' copy over a download or digital, I don't download anything or have streaming, of any kind. My physical film collection is my pride & joy and it's the same with books, would always prefer a physical entity.

Disney doesn't even releases their latest movies on Dvd/bluray in my country which is sad.

05. Harry Potter the complete collection 1-7 (2011) $220,9 mil.
06. Star Wars the original trilogy (2004) - $126,4 mil.
07. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 1937 (2001) - $100,6 mil.

Some major blockbuster movies are missing either becuase there was no data available or surprisingly enough some of them didnt cross the $100 mil mark.

To check them individually (there is no list) go to the-numbers.com and use the search bar on the right.
The site lists the domestic Home video numbers below the boxoffice grosses.

Interesting to see Zack Snyder's 5 movies in that list (300, Watchmen, MoS, BvS, JL) that earned Studio about $ 637 mil form DVD/ Bluray sales, though the same Studio has now decided to ignore him and thrown him out. As "divisive" Snyder and his movies are, people are buying them for whatever reason.

Perhaps they like his films and wish to own them to watch again in the comfort of their own home, strange concept I know :o

I will always purchase a 'physical' copy over a download or digital, I don't download anything or have streaming, of any kind. My physical film collection is my pride & joy and it's the same with books, would always prefer a physical entity.
I mean you can do both.
For example with music, I listen to albums I never heard through streaming and then I buy the physical if I can (some albums are digital only). Then rip the album to my HDD. With movies, if I see a movie for the first time on streaming then I buy the Blu Ray or DVD if no Blu Ray is available. And then so many movies come with a digital copy nowadays.

I'm not saying you can't but I don't do anything regarding internet purchasing, downloading, ripping, streaming etc.

I like having both a physical and digital copy of most of my purchased films since there are times where I have the time to pop in the actual disc and others where I'm away from my physical copies and want to watch a movie on my laptop or elsewhere to kill some time. I also like having the physical copy because it's not dependent on internet and can't be taken away by any of the streaming services.

Whatever you think of them, Breitbart has an article detailing the massive drop in physical disc sales over the past 10 years. It's quite stunning how fast the bottom dropped out on physical media and based on the numbers, I'm not sure it's all streaming's fault (but I also don't think it's as simple as Breitbart's conclusion that movies suck now in comparison to previous years.)

Why the assumption that, because disk sales are diminishing, that physical media is dying ( that is, heading to zero ), as opposed to simply declining to some new, lower stable state? There is nothing about the market which magically decrees the former levels must be the only possible stable level of sales.

Because not one of them is in the top 10, and the one starring the two greatest superheroes ever created can’t even break the top 30?

Snyder took Batman from being a character that consistently sold in the top ten - including number one - and stuck him back down at 35. What more evidence do you need as to why the studio dropped him?
