Donald Sterling's Mistress, V. Stiviano, must return $2.6 million to Shelly Sterling

I think there's bigger legal injustices to get worked up over than an entitled woman who fell into millions of dollars by marrying an old racist sports-team owner. How does she deserve that money? At all? I doubt she's worked a day in her life. Feh, I'm in the karma camp here.

She didn't even marry him, though.

:o

Even more reason she shouldn't get the money.

So why are you outraged about this again?

Yeah I'm lost on who you're outraged on. The gifts and money are being returned to her family. You hear stories of people playing nice on folks near the end of their life to get themselves a part of a will or some nice gifts. You can see through that bulls**t pretty easily.

Why should Stiviano deserve that money anyways, she's the definition of a golddigger.

Donald Sterling went and cheated on his wife with Stiviano. He bought her tons of gifts that was they calculated was worth $2.6 million. Shelly Sterling sues Stiviano and now, she gets all of that back. I don't give a damn about Stiviano being a trash bag hoe. Think about it. That's not what I'm talking about. How does this ruling make any legal sense?

So let's say that a woman is separated from her husband. This woman buys her new boyfriend a $20,000 car. The pissed off husband can sue the boyfriend and get $20,000/the car from him?

Its not his money, it is their money. Stiviano knew he was married. Shelly Sterling argued that she seduced a man who she knew was married, and who at his age was easy to manipulate. The court agreed. Not hard to understand.

Yeah I don't know how it all works in the court systems but I think it's safe to say it's similar to how divorces with no prenup work. It doesn't matter if the husband is the main moneymaker of the house, a divorce can split money and property right down the middle because it's both of their money, unless of course you go into the marriage saying no, this is mine and that's yours.

I feel weird enough trying to defend this family's move already because I don't like them :funny: but I can understand why the court ruled in her favor. They're still legally married and she can argue this lady had no business having all of this money from her husband.

Lol, your condescension is appreciation.

But that excuse is actually is valid in a court of law? The guy is old, not stupid. But thanks for the explanation.

This makes sense. Thank you for the explanation.
