1 ) He’s not a political prostitute. Like it or not, politicians these days are more concerned about campaign donations than the Joe average voter, and some of the donations are from over seas interests or corporations. Others are from nations or groups that hate us. Representing outside the USA interests over USA citizens to me is un patriotic, and both sides are guilty. In a debate, Trump can throw this knock out punch early and often. And his opponents know he’s got them dead to rights.


2 ) He’s not an insider. Congress has record low ratings. Politicians love to claim there are outsiders, but few of them truly are. Trump is.


3 ) He has next to no political record. This was Obama’s biggest asset as not much was know about his brief political career. As such he was harder to attack. While Trump has made several statements on the issues, you can’t call him to the mat on bad public votes. Everyone else has major blunders and flip-flops.


4 ) He’s uber successful and should do well on the jobs issue, which is a huge problem right now with record low labor participation rates.


5 ) He is one of the few candidates with the stones to be factually correct even if its politically incorrect to state it. And in many cases the majority of Americas agree with him.


6 ) His funding is unlimited.


7 ) He can recover from a mistake or take a political punch.


8 ) He’s famous. He’s very good on television and has a real presence about him. People vote for people they know. In my opinion Trump will do well with the low information voters.


9 ) His base is attracted to him, he does not have to work or oil squeaky wheels. A huge political advantage.


10 ) He is the most articulate in terms of change. They all say it, who means it?


As long as he doesn't run as an independent, I think he's got a real shot to be the next POTUS.

I disagree. Trump is uber successful. He’s very famous and worth 8-10 billion dollars. How much higher do you want to set the bar on success?

Most rich people have a bankruptcy or two, it’s a legal way to dump a bad business or debt.

As for the illegals on crimes Trump is correct and the media does not quote him in full context. Trump did not say all illegals are bad people.

Drug or immigration offenses accounted for 45 percent of all offenses, and approximately 12 percent (over 6,600 illegal aliens) were arrested for violent offenses such as murder, robbery, assault, and sex-related crimes.[14]

An FBI crime study also shows heavy illegal alien involvement in criminal activity revealed these statistics:

75 percent of those on the most wanted criminals list in Los Angeles, Phoenix and Albuquerque are illegal aliens.

One quarter of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals, as are more than 40 percent of all inmates in Arizona and 48 percent in New Mexico jails.

Over 53 percent of all investigated burglaries reported in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens.

63 percent of cited drivers in Arizona have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that number, 97 percent are illegal aliens. 66 percent of cited drivers in New Mexico have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 66 percent, 98 percent are illegal aliens.

You should look into the statistics for black crime in the other states that you didn't mention specifically. Should we use incarceration and crime rates of black people as an excuse to limit their numbers in the US?

1 ) Are you for illegals crossing the boarder or not?

2 ) Don't you think they ( illegals ) commit crimes more USA citizens?

3 ) Do you know how much they cost the USA citizen tax payers in billions? Try 80-150 billion a year depending on your source. Would you rather see the money being spent elsewhere?

4 ) As for your black comment they are citizens here, so they deserve USA rights. Illegals are not citizens here.

Um, you do know New Mexico's governor made it so illegal aliens can't get driver's licenses. So of course a big chunk of the people without them are going to be illegal aliens.

What makes you so sure? This field is bland. Trump is standing out like a rose in a garbage dump. Just wait until the debate.

What is proven is this, the people are responding to Donald’s message and the USA is in far worse shape then most major media acknowledges.

Donald’s words hit with the force of Thor’s hammer, and equally important he has already proven he can take a political punch with no effect to his polling numbers.

Hillary Clinton is compromised beyond belief and trends downward ever time she has to speak. Jeb Bush for whatever reason seems like a lightweight.

Fact checkers matter most on flip -flops, and past political votes. Trump has next to none.

A fact checker does not matter as much when it comes to campaign policies or ideas unless its a clear lie. Please do bring up a fact checker, as it will underscore and force whomever to acknowledge the problem that Trump is talking about. The data that comes back still sides with the core of what he is saying.
