YES.
This will destroy your face.
For those who don't know, Chen Zhen is the fictional martial artist in The Chinese Connection a.k.a. Fist of Fury, Fist of Legend, and Fist of Fury (TV series) played by Bruce Lee, Jet Li and Donnie Yen respectively, so this is kind of a sequel to that.

I guess we could also consider Jet Li's Fearless as connected, since Jet plays Huo Yuen Jia, a real life kung fu master who was Chen Zhen's teacher.
Anyway, this will be awesome.

----

While China is traumatized by military cliques during the Warlord Era in the 1920s, Shanghai is the cynosure of all eyes. People see it as both Hell's Kitchen and Heaven's Gate. One of the city's most memorable heroes has to be Chen Zhen, who single-handedly avenges his mentor's death by killing all the Japanese at a dojo in Honkou, only to be showered with bullets while making his legendary flying kick. Vanished from the public eye ever since, he has taken for dead though his body is never found.

Seven years later, a wealthy entrepreneur called Koo returns from abroad and makes a grand entrance on the Shanghai social scene by befriending the notorious mafia boss of the city. This mysterious man is none other then Chen Zhen in disguise who dwells in a world of nefarious means in order to infiltrate the criminal empire. He soon discovers a clandestine collusion between the mafia and the Japanese.

Disguised as a caped crusader at night, Chen sets out to dismantle with his martial arts skill the evil collusion that plaques the country. One of his foremost missions is to ferret out the assassination list prepared by the Japanese.

If you don't find this video awesome, then please stick to your poorly filmed fight scenes.

I already have this movie on my radar. I've become a huge Donnie Yen fan recently, and he is now equally as cool as Jet Li in my eyes. Can't wait to see this movie.

looks good... i just hope its not one of those misleading martial arts films that then tries to take itself seriously and bores down the movie.

There's a part of me who's glad that he decided not to do more US movies, where he would be misused like Li or Chan. But that's not their fault because of the language barrier.

NOw..

it's a shame too because Donnie has much, much better English than Jet Li and Jackie Chan combined. In fact, I think Donnie was partially raised & educated in BOSTON!

I love Donnie Yen, the guy is brutal. This movie looks bananas. That action clip with him dodging the bullets and swinging on the rope makes me roll my eyes at that garbage hollywood churns out.

Yeah, Donnie has very good English because he was raised in the U.S. for many years while he followed his mother. It's too bad that he was only given thankless villain roles like the part he played in Shanghai Knights. I think doing movies in Asia where he gets breakout roles like in Ip Man 1 & 2 is a better decision for him.

Ip Man 1 and 2 are excellent.
Part 2 is kind of a Chinese version of Rocky 4, but hey, that makes it more awesome.
