Yep. The Banned Users thread was totally lock-worthy. But the Hype Deathmatch Sign-Up DS/ETM/Reek/Aziz Derail Everything Thread was COMPLETELY on-topic.

I'm not sure why there's been no attempt to keep it on topic, considering the Banned Members thread was more tightly monitored than a Gitmo prisoner's bathroom break. I guess some mods (I want to make clear NOT CC, Vartha, Schlosser or any of the hands-off ones who take a more passive approach, but more the ones (or one) who take it upon themselves to bust in like forum-cops and break up the fun) really do play favorites with threads, despite their claims of objectivity and even-handedness when it comes to enforcing the rules.
