Hey all. Over the years I've bought a few issues twice, and I don't know what to do with them. If shipping is cheap enough I'll just give them to anyone who wants them.

I have:

Marvel
Black Widow (MAX) #1
Captain America and the Falcon # 3 & 8
Generation M # 2
The Mighty Avengers # 2 & 3
Captain America (Vol. 4) #30

DC
Green Lantern #171

Crusade
Shi: Senryaku # 2 & 3

Send me a private message anyone who wants any or all of these.

None of those are really at all rare or desirable. Cap and Falcon was a series canceled after only 14 issues, and Cap vol 4 was relaunched at issue #32, and the current series (vol 5) is very popular. Most of these issues are also random, and in the middle of story arcs.

:whatever:

Yeah, I don't recall him trying to sell them on the basis of being rare or valuable. He's just got some comics he doesn't know what to do with and figured he'd share the wealth.

That said, I'm not really interested in any of those myself. Still cool that you're offering to just give them away, though, Steve.

Yeah, Jesus, guys, I was just trying to give them away. I never said anything about them not being in the middle of an arc or being rare or valuable. I just said, who wants them for free?

Wow, you do realize you usually sound like ten times more of an ass than I ever do? I mean, seriously:

Dude, you came up with these crazy statements that I copied VERBATIM. At some point, you have to have to agree on what reality is. The reality is that you have no idea what you're talking about most of the time. This is one of those times.

No, I didn't realize that. Apparently the others in this thread didn't either.

so... you're speaking for them then? ;)

Actually, they spoke for themselves. I let people do that sometimes.

Now let's drop it, shall we?

Before you get a mod to ban me for no reason so it doesn't look like you did it out of hurt feelings? Yes, let's.

Now that that's out of the way...Steve, why don't you just put them up for sale on Ebay? You probably wouldn't get the money that you spent on them back, but you'd at least get a little something.

I just figured I'd offer them to the people I post with everyday. If no one wants them, then I might sell them on Ebay or take them to the thrift store.

You could probably put them up on Ebay for a reasonably cheap shipping cost ($2.15) and a decent "Buy it Now" price of $1.50 or something.

Give the ones that are reader friendly to the kid's ward at your local hospital.

:yay:

That doesn't always work. I cleaned out my collection a few years ago and tried that. The Children's Hospital here in town would not take my X-Men Adventures or Batman:TAS comics. They had breasts.

No, they had women in them. Apparently, drawn women, while fully clothed, are evil.

Um... duh? Women are the first tools of Satan. Didn't you read the Book of Genesis every night before bed as a kid?
