If this is true then AWESOME!!!

Because form what i have heard he was great in hellboy and he is amazing in Pan labyrinth.

So far whatever i have heard for F4-2 sounds very very good except the title of the movie.

Which it is not the official title. Well I don't trust AICN with anything, they suck basically. But if it is true i guess it's good move i don't know much about him.

I have a feeling that will stay the title...as far as the new speculation on SS could be interesting....from what I have in the post about him this certainly won't be his first time playing this type of role....so if he is indeed playing the part....looks like they made a good choice...

This is a step in the right direction as far as casting goes. He's a cool physical actor.

I was just thinking the same thing.

He's probably among the best for that sort of task. Hopefully we'll get some sort of denial or confirmation soon. . . but I don't have much faith in AICN, so I'll wait until we get more before getting excited.

I think they'll change it, anyway Doug Jones yea I guess it's alright.

This sounds like a good choice for the Silver Surfer! I still would like to see Billy Zane for the role, but Doug Jones should do well with this role as well.

Hmmmmm.....no you didn't ... actually ..... but thats cool... I wasn't really quoting you to debate that issue....just putting my opinion out there...:)

The title is fine with me, but if they end up changing it....thats cool too....

The picture of Jones on Wikipedia looks enough like the Surfer to me.

Personally, I'd like to see him a bit beefier, but if their just using him for motion capture, the digital version may have some more bulk.

I think thats exactly what they are going to use him for.....and I think the other actors playing off of him will be excellent...

Still leaves up who will do the voice. If this is true. I do hope it is.

Also going to depend on how he moves. Does the SS move pretty normally, or does he have an etheral aura about him, moving in a somewhat eerie fashion? All that **** will have to be considered.

Will they go the Gollum route... (CGI mo-cap)

The Davy Jones route (CGi over live action)

or do it like The Thing (rubber suite).

I hope they study footage of real surfers, skate boarders, snow boarders, and

SKY SURFERS

I wonder if they can mocap or rotoscope that stuff.

Good choice of actor.

Oh man. I just remembered him from that Buffy episode Hush. He was the lead weird guy. That is great!!! Nice bit of work. Get an artist, not a star. Nice work if it's true.

Personally I think he looks closer than Vin diesel does to the Surfer, but, I too will have to wait on more info, even tho Moriarti is the only one over at AICN I trust.
