Down the road… in the event of a reboot… let’s hear some casting suggestions

Whether or not you buy into the necessity of it at the moment or are paying any mind to Feige floating it as a possibility in that recent interview… it does stand to reason that RDJ won’t be the last actor to play Tony Stark and Chris Evans won’t be the last actor to play Steve Rogers.

So let’s hear some ideas.

Personally, and granted it does take some excitement out of it if Disney isn’t actually allowed to give the character a solo outing, but…

Bruce Banner/Hulk - Jonathan Bailey



Am I letting myself typecast based on him playing a hot nerd in Jurassic World? Maybe. But I don’t owe any of you an explanation.

Honestly, by the time we get new versions of these characters, the casting options will have changed some. Ignoring that for the sake of the thread, though:

Iron Man - Jeremy Renner (yes)
Captain America - Taron Egerton
Black Widow - Sadie Sink (not with the two above, just saying who comes to mind)
Scott Lang - Ezra Miller (just don't choke anybody)

I could see that, but I can also backlash if they steer away from that characterization and play him a bit more straight-laced too.
