Ok, I don't see any posts on this and I'm not even sure this belongs here.
But has anyone else seen the first ep? I discovered it last night and freaking love it. Joss Whedon has some great ideas! Seeing the good old captain of the firefly jumping around like a superhero and singing is hilarious. The whole concept is great! I'm hooked. :)

14 minutes of fun! Great performances. Neil Patrick Harris especially, really good. The music actually seems a little more accomplished, well-integrated than the Buffy musical. I think Whedon's getting more confident with this stuff. And he had co-writers helping out.

Was good, but Once More, With Feeling was better.

I watched the first 7 minutes of this (which were awesome) but then the site crashed so I will wait for the DVD in December.:o

I thought the opening monologue was fairly stiff, but it picked up once he was out on the street. By the time Nathan Fillion showed up, I was loving it. Plus, I'm a big fan of Felicia Day. :o

Fillion's song was the only one I really liked in Act 1. Dont get me wrong, I liked the whole thing, but Fillion just kicked so much ass as the egotistical, a-hole superhero.

Absolutely, he was hilarious. He looked liked he bulked up quite a bit too. I've become fond of the laundry song.

Act II is up now. I thought this was a little slower, more lethargic than the first bit on first viewing. But it's good. Some more funny lines. Dr Horrible's got a great closing number.

NPH belligerently serving soup while wearing a fake mustache was hilarious. So was the pie comment. :D

Aww I thought the viewer mail scene at the beginning was hilarious. hehe

The Bad Horse songs alone make it all worthwhile. The whole thing is hilarious, though. I'm a big fan of all three of the main actors.

The little pause and look from NPH after "or he'll make you his mare," was great.

best show I've ever seen in the last two years.

P.S. I've ripped, extended, & converted the songs from the first two Acts into mp3 files, PM me.

the last act is up everybody. check that **** out 'fore it gets taken down on monday at midnight. greatness.

the twist at the end when Penny dies is classic Whedon, hits you right there but made an up till that point ok (not as good as 1 & 2) into the best episode. I thought Dr.Horrible was gonna reverse the death ray & save her but he didn't,makes it different & that more touching compared to the average comedy (but if the girl dies that makes it a Tragedy but not to us Whedon slaves, happened all too often but that's why we love him :)
.

Dr.Horrible's is just begging for a sequel now.

wow... I love this show. They better make more of those episodes that was amazing!

yeah i actually loved that ending.
but it made me so sad. Dr. Horrible got everything he wanted and no longer feels anything, but Billy sitting in the front of his computer is just all alone and he's lost everything. :csad:

very good. It was really homemade but the script dazzled. Just needed a few more gags per episode. The best part was the singing cowboys

Say it with me...Dr. Horrible animated series.

Am I right?

I could actually imagine that happening but I'd still rather have live action, nothing beats Fillion jumping into the scene all macho or D.Horrible's mannerisms (blinking, etc) :)

That was kind of amazing.. I'm a Neil Patrick Harris fan, and he was beyond hilarious. Fillion and Day was funny too, but Harris was the soul and most of the humor. He carried Dr. Horrible..

...aaaand it happens again...

Wedon sure seems to be a magnet for this kind of stuff.

They are ******s, somebody once picked at Firefly so much & I mean a lot at it being a sexist show even went as far as saying Zoe calling Mal "Sir" was sexist, freaking hell Mal was her superior officer & she was talking about the opening War scene not the rest of the series.

But anyway, just cause he's different there will always be picking at him whether it be Star Trek/Star Wars fans or just Whedon haters, & remember he supports the charity Equality Now (Equality for women) so I really hate it when people bash him like this
