Ya know what's funny? Even my mom knows how much this is messing with me. I was eating dinner at my parent's house last nite and we were talking about all our favorite shows when my mom says "Oh you didn't hear? They cancelled Hannibal." I knew she was messing with me but still it's funny to me that she even knew I'm this worried about it lol

you want to get back at your mom and freak her out or give her a good laugh?...

have a dinner invitation printed out and looking all professional and elegant stating that Dr. Hannibal Lecter cordially requires your company and invites you to join him for dinner at his home on whatever date and at whatever time and present it to her, LOL...

imagine the look on her face THEN... :woot:

Ehh she doesn't even watch the show so it wouldn't be too funny. Maybe an invitation from Norma Bates to stay at Bates Motel or something. My parents love that show. I think Hannibal goes right over their head. They're still like "What lion is in the room?" or "Who's the mongoose and who's the snake?" lmao

Those are the things I like about this show, complicated and intelligent dialog. :p Not just the usual.

I am in awe of this show. One could argue it's not perfect, but to the eyes of my heart, it is. Eklypze dear, I feel for you :csad:

Episodes 9 & 10 descriptions:

Episode 9 "TROU NORMAND"

05/23/2013 (10:01PM - 11:00PM) (Thursday) : A SERIAL KILLER’S MACABRE TROPHY RAISES QUESTIONS AND CLUES TO MOTIVES AS WELL AS SECRETS - The BAU team hunts a serial killer who digs up his victims, creating a totem pole of their bodies as a macabre trophy. When Nick Boyle's (Mark Rendall) body is found, Jack (Laurence Fishburne) & Alana (Caroline Dhavernas) question Abigail (Kacey Rohl) about his death. The resurrection of Nick's body enlightens Will (Hugh Dancy) to some of Abigail's secrets and Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) convinces Will to keep some of his own. Attempting to assert independence, Abigail agrees to write a book with Freddy Lounds (Lara Jean Chorostecki) and in the process, reveals her biggest secret to Hannibal.

Episode 10 "BUFFET FROID"

05/30/2013 (10:01PM - 11:00PM) (Thursday) : BAU investigates a murder in which two victims' faces are similarly mutilated; given a “Glasgow Smile.” For the first time, Will (Hugh Dancy) contaminates a crime scene thinking he committed the first murder and an MRI shows he suffers from Advanced Encephalitis. But Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) intimidates the attending physician, Dr. Sutcliffe, (John Benjamin Hickey into telling Will he's okay. Meanwhile, the team doubts Will who says, while revisiting the crime scene alone, he saw a mysterious, “dead-looking” woman (Ellen Muth) who may be involved. With his fears fed by Hannibal, Will returns to Dr. Sutcliffe for more mental health tests, when the doctor is murdered.

Yay, episode 10 has a JOKER reference in it!! OK, I know it's not relevant, but I am a Joker geek, so yeah :woot:

There is one particular photo showing what's about, but it's too disturbing, I won't post here. You could try find out for yourself here http://www.spoilertv.com/2013/05/hannibal-episode-110-buffet-froid.html

That's exactly what I love about it too. That and the complexity of the main characters. The one thing I've started laughing at a tad bit is how Dancy says some of his lines. That one echange with Hannibal in ep 4, he says something like "Are they speaking to you?" and just the way Will says "With noise and clarity" like it's one of the most important things he's ever said in his life lol. Can't help it. I love Dancy as Will but sometimes I giggle at the way he says some stuff

As much as I liked William Peterson as Graham, Dancy is really growing on me. I think I kinda like him better. The way he delivers his lines like you said, and his vulnerability. This show really deserves a home, even if NBC drops it.

Love this show. Anyone know what the ratings of it looks like? It's a great show and that means there's a good chance it will get cancelled.

I think it was the same with Friday Night Lights. A great show that not enough people watched. :(

Dancy really is great. His vulnerability really plays into it a lot too. I do love how he's really having trouble with all these cases and everything. If this does get picked up just think how great it'll be once he discovers Hannibal is the Chesapeake Ripper. Im especially interested in his and Allana's reactions

I think his fragility makes him more believable. There is a burn out rate on these things. The trouble I had with The Following was how many of the followers didn't seem to be all that disturbed by who they had become. I don't think you can kill somebody or look at dead people often and not be touched by it.

Jeez, spoilerz.

I don't want to know. :) I'll wait to watch.

Dancy's a bit...emphatic...at times "with LIGHT and CLARITY!!!", but for the most part he works for me as Graham.

I actually think he's more like Graham than Petersen, and much more than Norton, albeit a little more extreme.

Graham's not supposed to be a poster boy for a healthy psyche.

Still nothing on the renewal front?

Well given the schedule NBC just put out, if it does come back it will likely be Fridays, 10/9c paired with Grimm. Dracula and Crossbones will be in that slot and they're both airing 10 episode seasons. That leaves a gap in the spring that Hannibal could fill.

True. Its like watching someone shoot themselves in the foot over and over...and over.

Hey, Parks and Rec is still on the air. So they must be doing something right... or everything else wrong. :o

Finally found a full version of episode 4. Molly Shannon is ****ing creepy
