Dr. Lecter Invites you to Dinner. The ''Hannibal'' Thread - Part 1

Man that last episode grossed me out with all the closeup organ cookery. But in the good way of course. This show is so true to its source it's crazy. Masterfully dark and slyly humorous at times. That episode went down like a fine wine. I feel like we know this version of Hannibal much better now. I also have full faith in Mads at this point. He's perfect.

I've said ti already and I'll keep saying it...if they cancel this show I will cook and eat every exec at NBC.

And this will the look on my face as I chew them.

Finally found a full version of episode 4. Molly Shannon is ****ing creepy

For someone who freaks out about the show being cancelled, why aren't you actually buying these episodes on itunes and amazon or streaming on official sites instead of 'finding' them? Every bit of support the show gets will help.

I watch live/DVR, but I did buy the episode they skipped. :)

That helps. Rewatch online too. I download the HD eps from itunes and I'm obsessed with every single shot. Just a gorgeous show. Trying REALLY HARD not to watch the eps too much though so I don't get tired of the show.

Still nothing about renewals. So upsetting

I like to rewatch, there's always something I've missed.

I've watched every episode about 5 times by now. There's a ton I miss on the first viewing.

Whatever happens I will be buying this on Blu-Ray when it comes out. :)

I wonder if Eklypze is going thru the sweats and palpitations today, LOL...

EEEEEASY there, young man... :woot:

I have the episodes on iTunes, as well, even though I watch them live. It is a habit I have: if there is a show I like, I pick up the episodes on iTunes. With that said, I want to note that NBC is amplifying the drama surrounding the show by not declaring its status, which makes it absence from the fall lineup look ominous.

If the show is canceled, I am not going to worry: chances are, it will get picked up by another network. In context of Hannibal, ideally, it might be one of the premium networks, as the only other network that would accept the content - AMC - would be detrimental to the program, considering its treatment of creative personnel.

I'm wondering if A&E might pick it up. They are doing wonders with Bates Motel. Hannibal, I'm pretty sure, is getting the ratings they'd be seeking. And they could have them one right after another and make a line-up out of it. If I was Fuller, I would seriously target A&E because I think they have a very strong chance to be picked up there.

Somehow, I had forgotten A&E when I was assembling my list. You are correct, though.

I also just realized another thing - there are three TV seasons: fall, mid, and summer -- maybe they're saving it for summer?

The suspense is seriously driving me crazy. I've been refreshing this thread every few hours.

Ugggghhhh least I know I'm not the only one this is driving crazy now.
