Dragon Ball Fighters Coming In 2018

Bandai Namco is working on a new Dragon Ball fighting game, and this time Arc System Works is involved. In 2018, Dragon Ball Fighters will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It will be a 2.5D game, just like Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator.

The Dragon Ball Fighters announcement appeared in a press release dated June 12, 2017. While it does mention the 2.5D presentation and 3v3 battle system, it makes no mention of a character roster or modes that will be available. However, two screenshots were provided that show Goku, Frieza, Vegeta, Majin Buu, and Cell.

Since Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball Fighters has a June 12, 2017 date on it, we may learn more about the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC game at E3 2017.

It looks incredible! I haven't been excited for a DBZ game since the early 2000's.

Screw Xenoverse's kind of gameplay. This is where DBZ is at its best! 2.5D awesomeness like the Budokai series.

I liked Xenoverse. But I will still put this game on my wish list.

I still like Xenoverse as well. I hope they'll work on both series. Dragon Ball Fighters for the more hardcore crowd and competitive scene, Xenoverse for the more casual players, who like to play a sort of Dragonball simulator. But Dimps still needs to step up their game. It's sad to see what the modding community manages to pull off. It just paints the developer as incredible lazy.

I'm not really into traditional fighting games. But I have to say that looks mother****ing incredible. The graphics and intensity of the combat is chilling. Dimps will definitely need to shake things up for XV3.

I hope so because, without them, we only get 18 as a female fighter.
They're brand new characters, though, so it's a small chance for them.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are left out at launch. They showed up only recently in the newest DBS arc, and have barely shown off any of their abilities. There wouldn't be much 'arc system works' has to work with.
