Bandai Namco to expand the original capacity of the closed beta.

The closed beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ will run from September 16 to 18, Bandai Namco announced.




Sign-ups, which were previously announced to open on July 26, have been moved to August 22 in order to expand the capacity of the closed beta in an effort to enable more players to participate. This includes bolstering background systems to ensure the closed beta registration and selection process can accept the volume of anticipated sign-ups.




This does not affect Japan, however, whose sign-ups for the PlayStation 4 closed beta opened today. Simply download this free application ticket for your chance to participate. Beta dates for Japan have yet to be announced.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is due out worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2018.

A story mode where "super warriors fall one by one."

The latest issue of Weekly Jump reveals that both Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegata are playable in Dragon Ball FighterZ, and the latest issue of V-Jump reveals that both Android 16 and Android 18 are also playable.


Super Saiyan Blue Goku can use “10x God Kamehameha.” Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta can use “Final Flash Attack.” Android 16 can use “Hell’s Flash” at its maximum output. Android 18 can use “Accel Dance,” which is a combination attack that summons Android 17. It is unknown if this is the only capacity in which Android 17 will appear.


Previously announced playable characters include Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Cell, Frieza, Majin Buu, Trunks, Krillin, and Piccolo.
Weekly Jump also reveals that the game will have a story mode involving a revived Android 16 where “super warriors fall one by one.” It is described as “a new story for Goku and friends depicted in high-end animation.”


And V-Jump also reveals online party matches, which are three-versus-three online matches with different players controlling each character. Of course, characters will switch in real time.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2018. A closed beta will run from September 16 to 18, with registration opening on August 22.

Dragon Ball FighterZ will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in February 2018, Bandai Namco announced at Gamescom 2017.

n Europe, a Dragon Ball FighterZ “CollectorZ Edition” will also be available. It will includ the following:

• Dragon Ball FighterZ game software
• Goku 18cm diorama with an exclusive “Manga Dimension” coloring
• Three arts boards
• Unique SteelBook

Pre-orders will incldue early access to the open beta, an early unlock of Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, and two exclusive lobby avatars.


A new trailer and set of screenshots feature recently confirmed playable fighters Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Super Saiyain Blue Vegeta, Android 16, Android 18, Krillin, and Piccolo, as well as a glimpse at story mode. Bandai Namco teases,



“With the resurrection of Android 16 and the invasion of the mysterious army corps, the super warriors starts to fall. What is happening?” “Party Match” is also revealed, which is an online battle mode where six players are each in charge of one character during a three-versus-three battle.




A closed beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ will run from September 16 to 18, with registration open today (PlayStation 4 in Europe, Xbox One users selected through Xbox Insider program).

New gameplay footage of Dragon Ball FighterZ featuring newly confirmed playable characters Android 16 and Android 18 has surfaced online.


If you missed it earlier today, Bandai Namco released a new trailer and set of screenshots showing the Androids, Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, and story mode.


Dragon Ball FighterZ is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in February 2018.

Also SSGSS Goku and Vegeta. So we are at 13. I saw a rumored leak of 32, but we will see.

Looking at 18, I wonder if Goten and Trunks will be similar.
