Nappa is a heavy-type character who uses the Saibamen to attack. The Saibamen can also be used to gain time to charge energy or prepare a combo.

Bandai Namco will unveil two new playable characters for Dragon Ball FighterZ on the next episode of IGN’s Next Big Game.




In the latest episode, which aired on October 23 and focuses on Star Wars Battlefront II, Next Big Game host Max Scoville mentions next week’s episode will host the premiere of “not one, but two new characters.”




An air date for the next episode of Next Big Game has not been announced, but the previous two episodes aired on a Monday.

Three more fighters join the fray.

Gotenks, Kid Buu, and Adult Gohan will be playable in Dragon Ball FighterZ, the latest issue of Weekly Jump reveals.


Gotenks’ Meteor special attack is “Charging Ultra Buu Buu Volleyball.” While Gotenks’ partner in performing this technique is Piccolo in the original work, the scene will change depending on the partners you assemble in the game.



Kid Buu’s special attack is “Planet Burst.” Adult Gohan can use “Unlock Potential” by consuming the Ki Gauge, the magnification of which changes depending on the amount of ki in the gauge. His special move is “Ultimate Kamehameha.”




Outside of the new characters, the magazine also reveals:

• Shop – Players will be able to purchase character color variations and titles by spending the Zeni earned in battle.
• Arcade Mode – Fight a predetermined number of battles. The route will change depending on whether you win or lose.

Following a trailer for Gotenks earlier this morning, Bandai Namco has released new information and screenshots on Dragon Ball FighterZ introducing new playable fighters Gotenks, Gohan (Adult), and Kid Buu, as well as Arcade Mode.

Gotenks

Gotenks is the result of Trunks and Goten’s successful use of the Fusion Dance method to create one fused character of greater power and skill. Gotenks is the first Fusion Dance character to be seen in Dragon Ball. He sports a blue and yellow Metamoran vest, a piece of clothing which all Fusion Dance characters wear. Gotenks has a short reach but rapid movements such as the Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack. Gotenks is ready to take on all challengers in Dragon Ball FighterZ.




Gohan (Adult)

Gohan (Adult) is the first hybrid character to appear in the Dragon Ball series, combining Earthling and Saiyan traits in one character. Gohan doesn’t possess the passion that Goku has for fighting, instead choosing to only engage in battle to defend Earth and the lives of his loved ones. Gohan (Adult) can change the outcome of the fight by unleashing his ultimate ability mid-game to unlock his true power!
Kid Buu

Kid Buu, unpredictable in his thoughts and unremorseful for his actions, will certainly be a fierce fighter to contend with in Dragon Ball FighterZ. Possessing numerous powerful attacks, Kid Buu can be one of the most dangerous characters to come across during battle or a powerful ally on your team. With his high speed and power, Kid Buu is an expert for tricky attacks. He can stretch his arm, so reach should never be a problem.
? Arcade Mode

In Arcade Mode players will be able to test their strength. They will progress and fight against stronger enemies to increase rank and become the strongest fighter of Dragon Ball FighterZ! In this mode, three courses are available and when the course is completed Hard Mode is unlocked. With the Zeni points collected in all the battles, players will also have the opportunity to unlock alternative colors for playable characters and get various items in the in-game shop.

Plus two new gameplay systems revealed.

Beerus, Hit, and Goku Black are playable in Dragon Ball FighterZ, the latest issue of V-Jump reveals.

Beerus’ Meteor special attack is “God of Destruction’s Judgment,” which seems to go from a throwing technique to a Headshot rush attack. He can also use “Sphere of Destruction,” which creates a sphere that explodes when it touches the enemy.


Hit’s Meteor special attack is “I Continue to Grow,” which stops time and unleashes multiple attacks one after the other. He uses instantaneous attacks and movement, as well as strike techniques.
Goku Black’s Meteor special attack is “Work of the Gods,” in which he attacks with his hand transformed into a blade and follows with a cloning attack. Zamasu (Goku Black’s true form) also appears and can bind the opponent.

Beerus is the God of Destruction and possess overwhelming strength. His Meteor special move, “God of Destruction’s Judgment,” is activated by grabbing the opponent before him. He then attacks with a transcendent headshot. His “Spheres of Destruction” technique can prevent the opponent from moving. It generates spheres that explode upon touching the opponent. Spheres can be placed in various spots to trifle with the opponent.
Hit

• Power: S
• Speed: SS
• Reach: A
• Technique: S
• Energy: C

Hit uses “Time-Skip/Molotov” to stop time and strike the opponent’s vitals at ultra high-speed. He has a number of ultra high-speed special moves where he can’t be seen. His Meteor special move is “I Continue to Grow,” in which he stops time and deliver blows at ultra high-speed. The opponent will receive major damage and collapse when time starts moving again. Hit uses instantaneous attacks and movements, strikes that counter attacks received while standing, and more. He also has plenty of technical skills.
Goku Black

• Power: A
• Speed: S
• Reach: S
• Technique: A
• Energy: S

Goku Black is really Zamasu, who came from another dimension and took over Goku’s body. Goku Black has Goku’s physical abilities and god powers, and can turn his hand into a blade to attack. His Meteor special move, “Work of the Gods,” uses a scythe for a fearful attack. He then creates several clones and mercilessly attacks with his hand blade. The end of the technique unleashes a powerful flash and cuts up the opponent. For some special moves, Zamasu will lend Goku Black a hand. When firing off a Kamehameha, Zamasu will also hold back the opponent. And by cooperating with Zamasu, you can unleash a super special move that throws a powerful spirit ball giant in both power and size.

In addition to the new fighters, the magazine also has information on two new gameplay elements:

• “Come forth, Shenron!” – Shenron appears during battle. With a certain number of combos, the seven Dragon Balls will gather, and Shenron will appear in battle when certain conditions are fulfilled. You and your opponent share the amount gathered. The player who fulfills the conditions will have their wish granted. You can choose from four wishes: full HP recovery, teammate revival, addition of one sparking icon, or constantly recovering HP.
• “Dramatic Production” – Inserts productions that reproduce famous scenes from the anime without change before and after the battle when certain conditions are fulfilled.

Additionally, the game’s official Japanese Twitter account (2, 3) posted first screenshots of Goku Black, Beerus, and Hit.
Goku Black will receive assistance from Zamasu, such as holding down the opponent when firing a “Kamehameha.” Using his giant scythe and hand-blade, Goku Black can attack from a distance with long reach, never giving his opponent a chance to retaliate.

Beerus is the God of Destruction of Universe 7. He restrains his opponent while using “Spheres of Destruction” that explode upon touch, all the while gradually cornering his opponent with what is not even the full extent of his God powers.

Hit uses his “Time-Skip/Molotov” technique to attack as if he is warping. He also uses technical skills, such as automatically counter-attacking when attacked in a defensive stance, to drive into his opponent with ultra high speed attacks.
