I'm keep jumping between whether or not there is something more happening within the tournament considering the focus on the Great Priest and Mojito. Maybe, maybe not but Im intrigued.

Am I the only one bored by the tournament so far? Numbers need to be reduced quickly, so we get some decent one on one fights. I've been catching up on Boku No Hero Academia recently, and that show is way more fun and exciting than the entire Super run at this point. At least in my opinion.

I like the tourney so far. Last episode was legit seeing Goku & Geets team up to wipe the floor with U9.

Am I the only one bored by the tournament so far? Numbers need to be reduced quickly, so we get some decent one on one fights. I've been catching up on Boku No Hero Academia recently, and that show is way more fun and exciting then the entire Super run at this point. At least in my opinion.

I like Dragon Ball and all, but honestly, I can name a lot of shows that I believe are better plotted with better pacing, characters, and writing overall. IMHO, Dragon Ball's storytelling and narrative have always been flawed in general.

I wouldn't disagree with you in thinking My Hero Academia is far superior to Dragon Ball. Its breakout popularity is totally justified.

Watching Super, I honestly feel like I've been way too hard on GT.

Watching Super, I honestly feel like I've been way too hard on GT.

As i've gotten older/wiser my distaste for GT has lessened. Its allowed me to see the flaws that plagued the series but also let me appreciate that GT had its moments.

That being said Super is still miles better IMO

Well, those stakes are apparently still not enough to make Universe 7 fight as a cohesive unit.

There is that. But that's more of their fighting style than lack of teamwork. Goku usually fights by himself or at most in tandem with someone else (usually with Vegeta)

And that's the problem. Everyone's very lives are at stake, and he still only cares about having a good fight. And I thought at least Vegeta would have had enough character development, that he'd listen to Gohan, since his daughter was born very recently.

Super Dragon Balls will fix it.

For me, GT's got a 2:1 lead on Super; for GT its Baby and the Shadow Dragons to Super's Beerus.

Baby was all right. He had somethings going for him but at times he felt too much like Buu.

The SD were a great concept but the execution fell flat.

I'd still take Goku Black & Zamasu over them.

Plus most of the characters introduced post the RoF arc in Super have been excellent. Save for Roh for U9. But he was a jerk.
