Dragonball Z: Saiyan Saga is an extended fan trailer being produced by K&K Productions.

We are huge DBZ fans and I’m sure like many of you, we were very disappointed by Hollywood’s attempt at creating a live action movie. So in May we are set to shoot an extended live action trailer, created for the fans by the fans.

We want to make a high end DBZ fan film that has all your favourite moments from the Saiyan Saga packed in. We have assembled a great cast, all of whom are trained martial artists, so we can deliver on those great action sequences you've come to expect from DBZ. We also have a great location, access to green screen and we will be doing some wire work. So the end result will be a high action, real and gritty depiction of the DBZ universe.

It already looks better than Dragon Ball Evolution. I can't wait to see the final product. Hopefully it leads to something big like a feature length version backed by Funimation or someone else.

I still think live-action can be done. You just need to be more creative with the visuals. I'd go the Casshern/Goemon route.

They will show how an adaption of this material should have been done. By the way Battleship is one of those 200 million dollar blockbusters and no guarantee it will be good at all.

I didn't think fans will be so picky even with a fan based project that's only gonna be a 5 min trailer. Fans want too much, they want epic scenes with green aliens and huge body builders that's basically anatomically incorrect fighting at lightning fast speeds and of course they want the best damn cosplay to go with it. How dare you even try to label this hollywood. When they've done everything 199999x better than dbe did. Lol he has to have a mustache in order to be Nappa and he has to wear ridiculous speedos too. Ha
