So i remember when this was released i liked the look of it but the critics mauled it and i never got around to seeing it, So i was wondering what the Hype fathiful think of the movie a few years on as i saw the trailer the other day and it re sparked my interest and i can get it for £4.

I enjoyed it. It was fairly faithful to the book. And you gotta love the casting of Donnie Wahlburgh as Duddits.

Not that bad. I enjoyed it when I saw it. And you know... Jane's the man!

I liked it. It's one of the few King novels I haven't read so I can't compare it to the book but overall it was pretty good. Fantastic cast imo. Definitely worth £4.

Screw Dreamcatcher. What a piece of crap. This movie annoys the hell outta me, for a number of reasons:

1. Everyone's (beside Donnie Wahlburgh) hilarious over-acting.
2. Damien Lewis' horrible American accent. "Ya got it trapped, Buyv. Gout nowhare to goe but the septic tank." 'Nuff said.
3. The stupid-ass ending (completely different from the book, btw.).
4. The film's weird misdirection. It's not sure if it wants to be a horror flick, like the Thing, a sci-fi epic, an action film, etc.
5. "It's not the radio's boss! They're beamin' it directly into our heads!"
"Di-rectly into our heads. This gives you an idea of what we're up again-st."
Again, 'nuff said.

I thought it was pretty good. Have to agree with Superhobo about the ending though, it was way different than the ending of the novel. They changed it into something you think you would see in a B movie. Overall it was entertaining and aside from the ending it followed the book pretty well.

Another great Steven King movie. The bathroom scene honestly creeped me out.

It was a fairly good movie, though I remember Jason Lee's character did something extremely stupid that really pissed me off.
It had to do with that toothpick and his death

Thanks for all the opinions guys, keep em coming:yay:

I thought it was pretty stupid, but I enjoyed it at the same time. How can anyone talk trash about Captain Winters and his American accent?

Movie was awesome, I have the book in hardcover and got it shortly after the film came out though still haven't read it yet (sorry stuff piles up around here.)

I DUDDITS!!!!!!!!!

This movie sucked, plain and simple. I haven't seen it in ages, but I do remember the horrible over-acting.

i saw it when it came out i liked it :) been awhile might watch it again if i can find it

Great concept, mediocre execution, plain and simple. I mean you have these guys with power rarely did they do anything that cool with them. Plus the creature effects were a bit weak, I also remember it being over the top as well. It's worth 4 dollars since it's an interesting movie but it's nothing special, and you probably won't revisit it.

The book's better, as always with Stephen King movies (except for the Shining)

I liked it... I didnt like the ending...

but dont tell curtis I said that

because... Noone crosses the curtis line and gets away with it :/
