Driver faces DWI charge after death of young NH actor

Hollis – A Massachusetts man was arrested after a fatal drunken driving crash this morning in Hollis that killed a promising young actor.

Gabriel King, 19, of Hudson, Massachusetts is charged with aggravated drunken driving following the death of his passenger, 21-year-old Jared Nathan of Nashua, who died at Saint Joseph Hospital.

Police said King was driving on Ranger Road in Hollis near the Nashua city line when his car left the road, hit a tree and rolled around 12:30 a.m. King was released on bail and he will be arraigned on Nashua District Court on February 7.

Nathan had appeared in the children's television show "Zoom," and on stage in festivals in Portsmouth and Milford. He was a student at the elite Juilliard School in New York City.
