What's the quality like on the digital copy? I've gotta try this once I get my IPhone. t:t:t:
What is this digital copy? For watching it on your ipod?
I knew you were joking, because I just watched it on my computer eariler. What's the point of having a digital copy?
That way you can watch it on your computer without having to constantly insert and remove the disc over and over. Also so you can watch it on your video enabled iPod, iPhone, and any other device similar to them that supports the format. You can also upload it a lot of devices, mainly through Apple. I think they have Apple tvs you can upload your files onto, so you could watch it on tv.I knew you were joking, because I just watched it on my computer eariler. Just curious, can you take pictures of the movie while watching?
Are you talking about the iPhone?
It switches.Speaking of the digital copy, the one that came with the Blu-ray has the switching aspect ratio for the IMAX scenes. I wonder if the DVD digital copy has only one aspect ratio (like the DVD) or if it's the same digital copy as the one that came with the Blu-ray?
It switches.
Ok seriously this is getting me frustrated. Alllll I'm getting anytime I try to transfer the Digital Copy is "Cannot acquire license for requested files. Please try again later. "
Anyone else having a similar problem and got through later or what?

Yeah, I have the 2 Disc edition with the digital copy included (and the little authorization code is on the inside of the DVD case)just to clear the air, is yours a legal copy that YOU paid for?
needing a license usually refers to programs that have a one-user code and that's an error when it's already been used by someone else. i've never had a digital copy before, so idk.
I know about all that stuff, but I wanna see how this Digital Copy stuff works. I really just want to try it out since it's the first movie I bought that includes a 'Digital Copy' But lame how it's not actually going through (for the last 2 1/2 days )Google "The Dark Knight Torrent". You're a victim of DRM. Just get the pirated version, it'll make things a lot easier. You tried to do it the legal way, but WB and every other studio screws over legit costumers like you all the time, by wrapping their content in broken DRM.
As the saying goes, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." t: It's their way of having a digital version available for people while still controlling distribution.I knew you were joking, because I just watched it on my computer eariler. What's the point of having a digital copy?
It might be actual IMAX aspect ratio, I'm not sure. Even the Blu-ray has some cropping.Cool. So they just did a rip of the Blu-ray for everyone. That's cool. I think they should have done that for the actual DVD transfer too.
The digital copy is 2GB. A DVD normally carries 4.7GB. The "other" versions, from the Blu-ray, come in 8GB and 40GB (from what I've read, I actually have not looked for the 40GB since I don't have the harddrive space).I guess I'm under the impression that the 'Digital Copy' may have better quality than the other version I can grab? Or is that not the case?
